In UK, abortion is a legal consideration in Scotland, Wales and England as per the Abortion
act, 1967. Abortion has been penalised in courts. Therefore, if medically the foetus or mother is
not able to survive or any medical issues than law allows for abortion. However, there has been
another law related to abortion such as Offences against the person Act, 1861 as in section 58
and 59 brings procurement of abortion (Taylor and Wilson, 2019).
Laws related to death penalty
There has been various capital punishment act and laws related to death penalty in UK.
Thus, if a person involved in any crime such as murder, rape, terrorism etc. (Helfer, 2019).
However, it is comprised of various acts or laws such as Murder (Abolition of Death Penalty)
Act, 1965, Human rights Act, 1988, Crime and disorder act, 1964 as well as Capital Punishment

punishments will be given to the criminal as life sentencing till death and hanging them to death.
Laws related to assisted dying:
This is the act which is related with letting a person dying as if they are suffering from
disease or any medical issues. Thus, it has been known as voluntary euthanasia or assisted
suicide. There are various laws which are in support of this act such as Suicide Act, 1961,
Coroners and Justice Act, 2009 (Wilson, Oliver and Malpas, 2019). Thus, it is the most
conveyancing action to the person who is extremely suffering that will help them to relive such
suffer and as per legal notice let them die.
