INTRODUCTION
Project management can be defined as the process in which the team will be
working in such a way so that the desired goals can be achieved in specified time limit. A project
management requires that all the necessary resources which are required to fulfil the objectives
of business must efficiently arranged. The person who will be managing all these affairs related
to project management will be known as Project Managers. To ensure that the proposed project
management plan becomes successful in order to achieve the goals of the company, it is
necessary that various appropriate approaches and models should be implemented so that the
plan can be controlled and managed in an efficient manner and the execution of such project
management plan will be done in the effective manner. In this following report the execution and
control of project management plan of Firebird Events Ltd. will be discussed which consist of
planning of decoration, catering management, invitation, engagement ceremony, various pre
wedding events and the ceremony of wedding. In this report it will be shown that how the
PRINCE-2 Model will be applied to the project management plan in order to ensure that the
proposed management plan gets successful. Also further a project evaluation report will also be
prepared by the researcher.

It is of utmost importance that to get the desired results from the proposed project
management plan of Firebird Events Ltd the right approaches and models should be
implemented so that the goals of the company can be achieved through implementing the project
management plan in an efficient manner. Applying right approaches will also help the company
in completing the tasks by the company in a stipulated time and budget which is £50000 and
within 6 months. It must be noted that this phase of execution of project management plan will

help any company in conducting various types of activities which are related to the project in a
pre planned way in order to ensure that the products and services which are being offered by the
company are of high quality which are satisfying the needs of the consumers(Boyle, 2017). If the
needs of the consumers will be taken into consideration and importance will be given to it, it will
lead in the growth of business. The importance of this execution is also that by this monitoring of
the project management plan all the data of this plan can be collected and evaluated in an
efficient manner so that the cost and time which the company is spending upon the
implementation of this project management plan gives the fruitful result(Cooke, 2016).
Controlling and monitoring the execution of a project management plan is a process through
which the status of the project can be found and it will also help in analysing that what all will be
the possible outcomes of this execution. It will also help the company in evaluating whether any
changes are required or not in the existing plan to get the desired results. This executing and
monitoring the project management plan includes various processes such as planning of the
project, budgeting, managing the risks associated, change in management, forecasting and
evaluating the performance of management. All these processes will help the Firebird Events Ltd
in enhancing and improving its services which they are providing related to all the events which
happens in a wedding ceremony. It will also help this company in the terms of increasing its
customer base as if they monitor the project management plan in an efficient manner the more
people will hire them for the weeding events which will lead to the growth of the company. It
will also improve the brand image of Firebird Events Ltd in the eyes of general public as through
monitoring of the proposed plan they will be able to provide the services which satisfies the
needs of people by introducing various unique concepts and themes while planning their
events(Esteki, Gandomani and Farsani, 2020).
PRINCE-2 is an abbreviation which is used for Projects In Controlled Environment
which is a step by step method which will help the company in achieving the desired results of
the project management by monitoring and controlling the plan from the initial stage of its
execution till its end. This model can be applied efficiently by Firebirds Events Ltd in order to
ensure that the proposed plan of project management helps it in conducting the events related to
marriage in an unique and interesting way which will help it in achieving more success of their
business. If the plan will be monitored and controlled from time to time by Firebird Events Ltd
and this PRINCE-2 model will be efficiently applied it will also lead to a rapid growth of the
