INTRODUCTION
Project management can be defined as the process in which the team will be
working in such a way so that the desired goals can be achieved in specified time limit. A project
management requires that all the necessary resources which are required to fulfil the objectives
of business must efficiently arranged. The person who will be managing all these affairs related
to project management will be known as Project Managers. To ensure that the proposed project
management plan becomes successful in order to achieve the goals of the company, it is
necessary that various appropriate approaches and models should be implemented so that the
plan can be controlled and managed in an efficient manner and the execution of such project
management plan will be done in the effective manner. In this following report the execution and
control of project management plan of Firebird Events Ltd. will be discussed which consist of
planning of decoration, catering management, invitation, engagement ceremony, various pre
wedding events and the ceremony of wedding. In this report it will be shown that how the
PRINCE-2 Model will be applied to the project management plan in order to ensure that the
proposed management plan gets successful. Also further a project evaluation report will also be
prepared by the researcher.

PRINCE-2 Model
It is of utmost importance that to get the desired results from the proposed project
management plan of Firebird Events Ltd the right approaches and models should be
implemented so that the goals of the company can be achieved through implementing the project
management plan in an efficient manner. Applying right approaches will also help the company
in completing the tasks by the company in a stipulated time and budget which is £50000 and
within 6 months. It must be noted that this phase of execution of project management plan will

help any company in conducting various types of activities which are related to the project in a
pre planned way in order to ensure that the products and services which are being offered by the
company are of high quality which are satisfying the needs of the consumers(Boyle, 2017). If the
needs of the consumers will be taken into consideration and importance will be given to it, it will
lead in the growth of business. The importance of this execution is also that by this monitoring of
the project management plan all the data of this plan can be collected and evaluated in an
efficient manner so that the cost and time which the company is spending upon the
implementation of this project management plan gives the fruitful result(Cooke, 2016).
Controlling and monitoring the execution of a project management plan is a process through
which the status of the project can be found and it will also help in analysing that what all will be
the possible outcomes of this execution. It will also help the company in evaluating whether any
changes are required or not in the existing plan to get the desired results. This executing and
monitoring the project management plan includes various processes such as planning of the
project, budgeting, managing the risks associated, change in management, forecasting and
evaluating the performance of management. All these processes will help the Firebird Events Ltd
in enhancing and improving its services which they are providing related to all the events which
happens in a wedding ceremony. It will also help this company in the terms of increasing its
customer base as if they monitor the project management plan in an efficient manner the more
people will hire them for the weeding events which will lead to the growth of the company. It
will also improve the brand image of Firebird Events Ltd in the eyes of general public as through
monitoring of the proposed plan they will be able to provide the services which satisfies the
needs of people by introducing various unique concepts and themes while planning their
events(Esteki, Gandomani and Farsani, 2020).
PRINCE-2 is an abbreviation which is used for Projects In Controlled Environment
which is a step by step method which will help the company in achieving the desired results of
the project management by monitoring and controlling the plan from the initial stage of its
execution till its end. This model can be applied efficiently by Firebirds Events Ltd in order to
ensure that the proposed plan of project management helps it in conducting the events related to
marriage in an unique and interesting way which will help it in achieving more success of their
business. If the plan will be monitored and controlled from time to time by Firebird Events Ltd
and this PRINCE-2 model will be efficiently applied it will also lead to a rapid growth of the

company by increasing its base of customers and increased market share. While applying this
PRINCE-2 model on the execution of project management plan it must be taken into
consideration that all the principles of this model should be implemented in the most effective
and most efficient way so that the goals which the company wants to achieve by implementation
of the plan can be achieved in a given time limit(Lock, 2020). Application of this model will also
help the company in terms of investment, will lead in gaining new experiences for the employees
and gives clarity regarding various roles and responsibilities of employees. This model of
executing a project management plan will ensure that this execution of the projects should get
completed in the specified time which is 6 months with extraordinary results(Heagney, 2016).
Following are the various processes which Firebirds Events Ltd must follow while applying the
PRINCE-2 model to their project management plan:
Starting of the Project: The first step of the process for applying the above mentioned
model is that to determine the goals of the company which the company wants to achieve and for
that purpose only this project management plan has been created. This project should be
approved by the project manager of the company(Meredith, Shafer and Mantel Jr, 2017).
Directing a Project: This will be considered as the second step after the project has been
started. In this stage it will be determined that what all resources are required and how the team
will be formed who will work for the proper implementation of project management by assigning
them various duties and responsibilities(Hinde, 2018).
Initiating the Project: This will be considered as the actual starting of the project
management in which a time frame will be specified according to which each member of the
team will complete their assigned tasks. At this stage only various other factors will be studied
such as how this project will be completed in 6 months, how quality of the products and services
provided by the company will be maintained, what is the scope of this plan, what all risks are
associated with this plan and how implementing this plan will benefit the company.
Controlling: It is a very crucial thing while implementing a project management plan to
control and monitor the progress of the plan. It will also be helpful in making necessary changes
if the upper management of the company is of opinion that this plan is not going to give the
expected results(Kerzner, 2017).
Managing Product Delivery: Here in this process it will be seen whether the
implementation of plan is giving expected results to the company or not and if expected results

are not coming what all reasons are responsible for it. At this stage only it will be seen that what
all necessary corrections or changes are required to the existing plan(Marchewka, 2016).
Managing Stage Boundaries: From time to time the outcomes of the plan should be
reviewed and analysed by the manager of the company in order to find out that the current plan is
giving productive results in the growth of the company.
Closure of Project: This is the last stage where the result has been achieved by the
company on he implementation of the proposed plan. Proper documentation of this plan will be
kept with the company regarding this plan in order to maintain the records(Kerzner, 2019).
By following the above discussed processes of PRINCE-2 model Firebirds Events Ltd
can efficiently complete its project which is related to organizing various wedding events by
introducing unique concepts and themes. If this model will be applied to the proposed project
management plan of Firebirds Events Ltd it will help the company in achieving its goals in a
more smooth manner. It will also increase their base of the customers which will lead in gaining
high revenue by the company. It is also necessary for the company to control and monitor the
progress of the plan by following the above discussed processes which will give company an
upper hand in determining various issues such as cost, time and quality of the project
management plan. By controlling and monitoring this plan, it will help the company in
improvement of the efficiency of the proposed plan by doing necessary changes as per the
requirement(LARSON and GRAY, 2018).
End of Project Evaluation Report
The project ending is processed as per the better dependency of the different project so
that the completion of project is attained within the perfect balanced. It is an essential aspect with
this the efficient decision-making is progressed under which adequate level of management is
completed so that efficient changes is implemented so that suitable decision is developed by
which sustained level of development is addressed. It is determined from the project that scope
and deliverable of project is managed so that perfect balance is attained so that customer is
satisfied in adequate manner(Radujković and Sjekavica, 2017). The analysis of brief is also be
adjusted so that different facilities are improvised by which easy acceptance within the market is

The project of Firebird event Ltd is based on the wedding planning so that they have
make suitable usage of different equipment’s as like lighting, catering, designing and many other
activities as well. Thus the project manager ensure certain level of changes is implemented by
which better level of services are provided to the customers through which they have felt more
comfortable. In addition while planning the wedding it is necessary that planner has implement
all the different modifications as per the suitability. It is a project through which the manager
hastries to develop the profitable margin within which the suitable amount of changes is
implemented within the stipulated period of time. The vital objectives of the wedding is to
maintain and develop better changes within which planning is achieved in perfect manner. In this
it is easy to required that certain level changes is implied as per the suitability of customers so
that they have make better level of enjoyment. It is used to emphasis the brand image and values
by which better and improvised modifications is attained on repetitive basis(Rasnacis and
Berzisa, 2017).
The execution and the completion of wedding planning is implemented so that better
benefits and facilities are attained so that prior level of achievements and target are achieved in
effective manner. It is a process that is also modified the profit maximisation in which the sales
and revenue of Firebird event Ltd is enlarged. The key aspect of stakeholder is more important
for the business and in this the supplier, decorators, workers, caterers, concern parties and many
other participatory is managed so that organised level of interest is developed. The wedding
programme include the better and new designing within which the balanced level of
modifications is implemented so that customer get all the things more changed and different as
well. Thus in this the project manager has maintain the list of all the demand of the
concernedparty and tries to fulfil all the requirement so that delight memory is created and it also
used to create more values in future period of time. As much better and different the event is that
much people get attracted towards that and in this more of the other customers also make
favoured towards the event programmer.
The project manager and its management department ensure that all the target and goal is
achieved within the timely basis as in this the wider level of connectivity is developed with the
customers in which better focus is maintained. It helps to emphasis the probability of deliverable
by which balanced level of management is processed. The manager as the budget of around
£50000 and have the time period of 6 months within which implies certain modifications by

which the working quality and scope is getting advanced. There is different roles and
responsibilities that is played by all the different individual of the Firebird event Ltd and along
with this ensure that long terms accessibility is achieved in this the working efficiency is
developed in sustained manner. The wedding planning and the allocated time period i.e. 6
months is used to manage the resource accountability in which all the individual of the event
planning performed its role with more certainty so that achievement of goals become more easy
and flexible as well.
The ending and completion of wedding plan is developed with the parallel support of
PRINCE 2 model in which repetitive focus is maintained through which balanced level of
progress is attained with more perfectness. In this the continuous and long term improvements is
processed by which the working performance and productivity is enlarged. It is used to complete
the assigned task and activities within the timely basis so that skills and capabilities is enhanced
in systematic manner(Turner, 2016). The Firebird event Ltd also uses the effective and suitable
method of communication in which the both short and long goals are easy to achieved. The
communication technique is used to reduce the complexities and redundancies in effective mode
so that sustained accountability is attained as in this misshapenness is balanced. If certain
changes is required than it is mandatory that communication medium must be more attractive
and in this appropriate decision are taken in which balanced level of modifications is implies so
that wedding is completed in sustained mode. Firebird event Ltd maintain record of it in which
they have analyse the different alternatives so that equilibrium balance is attained so that
working efficiency is managed. I have take adequate balanced in between the different activities
and also tries to implement better changes in which skills and capabilities is getting more
advanced. I have tried to assign different roles to all the other team member so that personal and
professional development and learning is developed. I have also collected all the replicative
information by which suitable coordination in between the different activities so as develop
leadership styles and approaches. I have used to gain market learning and in this critical thinking
and skills set is implemented by which stress management is controlled.
The PRINCE 2 model used to resolve all the complexities by which better knowledge is
pertained along with this I have also used democratic style of leadership by which problem
solving and decision-making is managed. In addition there is some risk as well and for this it is

required to acknowledge the various resources and implement that in formulate mode so that all
the risk are mitigated in appropriate manner(Young, 2016).
CONCLUSION
It can be concluded from above that it is very necessary to monitor and control the project
management plan in order to achieve the desired goals. This controlling must be done through
implementing the right approach or model such as PRINCE-2 model which has been discussed in
this report. Also it is required that EOP should be made when the project gets completed in order
to analyse the result so that all the mistakes can be improved in future.
