INTRODUCTIONLeadership is related to leading the followers to provide them right path to achieve success.It is an ability to develop the skills and knowledge by understanding new things. This study willinclude organisational learning theories and will reflective essay for assessing the knowledge aboutleadership and learning.MAIN BODY Leadership is the skill which helps organisation in achieving their organisational objective. Ican describe that leadership is the way which provides direction to organisation which assists firmin increasing their profitability and productivity. In my opinion, learning is an ability to learn newthings and increase the knowledge to improve performance (Bowers & et.al., 2017). I think,according to organisational perspective, the theory which helps in increasing knowledge anddevelop individual consists of Espoused theory and theory-in -use. Espoused theory refers to theformalised part of organisation. According to this theory, employees should conduct themselves in order to carry out theirjobs. This theory provides information about what employees should do and not focus on what theywant to do. Theory- in – use, is the actual way things are done. This approach is mostly used byorganisations to solve any problem rather than the espoused theory. It provides things thatemployees use to solve any problems and learn new things. There are three types of organisational learning theory that consist of single loop learning,double loop learning and Deuterolearning (Basten & et.al., 2018). Single loop learning consist ofone feedback loop when strategy is modified in response to an unexpected result. Double looplearning is that type of learning that results in change in Theory – in – use. According to thisorganisational learning theory, the values, strategies and assumptions which governs actions arechanged to create a more efficient environment. Deuterolearning is the knowledge which is aboutimproving the learning system. It consists of structural and behavioural components which determine how learning takesplace. These theories of organisational learning help in improving the organisational function toachieve greater profitability for the growth of enterprise (Spillane, 2015). Leadership is important asit provides way to organisation to achieve the results by making strategies which help in achievingthe desired targets.According to Gibbs Reflective Model, I have assessed that leadership provides way toachieve the target goals and help employees of organisation in increasing their learning andknowledge training provided by the leaders of enterprise to increase their skills and abilities. I cansay that organisation by adopting the theory – in – use which will help the firm in implementing the1
