1-What is involved in being a successful leader?
The successful leaders include the various qualities and abilities within them. There are some
traits or style of leadership helps in understanding it well. Some of those are well discussed
below-
Individual: includes some traits, styles or skills which are well explained below.
Traits include Big Five personality traits, Stogdill’s traits or Great Man Theory which are
explained as follows-
Big Five personality
The Big Five personality traits are also known as five-factor model (FFM) which is taxonomy for
the character trait. It is mainly characterised by the acronyms OCEAN or CANOE. It also
includes below points.

Katz's Three Skills-Based Models
This theory of leadership gets considered as one of the most important theories which have been
developed by Robert Katz in 1955. He recognised various technical related abilities which are

thoughts and ideas as the main area, the abilities of human which are related to the interacting

leaders. Katz's Three Skills-Based Model is the most important model of leadership which
