INTRODUCTION
 Operations management is the business function which change inputs into outputs. The
resources that directly produce the organisation services and products it is concerned with
that resources.
 The main purpose of production management is to produce good and right quality of
product and service. The operational function of Morrison is to uses of wastage and
improve the quality of products and services that provided to customers.

Roles and responsibilities of manager in the key operational functions

 Reducing of wastage

 Lean management theory
 Total quality management theory
 Six sigma theory

Impact of external business environment factors that affect decision-making
There are some external factors that affects decision-making which are-political, economic,
social, technological, environmental and legal.

CONCLUSION
 From the above study it has been concluded that the roles of leadership and the functions
of management played an important role in different situation arises in the organisation.
 Leadership and management tackled all the organisational situation in their own ways.
For achieving organisational goals' manager and leaders took help of different operational
approaches like six sigma approach and total quality approach.

Recommendation
 For the future improvement manager and leaders must have to focus on the consumers
need and then plan accordingly. It will have to focus not only improving understanding
but also help to inform solutions for problem at regional, local and national level.
 Company must follow all the rules and regulations which affect business. It must focus
on the employees needs because employees are the asset of the company and their
retention is very important in achieving the overall goals.
