Reasons of Choosing Forest School As Exhibition TopicThe forest schooling and Early Years Foundation Stage are two different things. Both ofthis are foundational methods that are used to provide the pre school education to the children.Children under the five-year age do not anything about the schooling and education system. Themain goal of Early Year Foundation Stage is to provide proper foundation to the children for thefurther schooling (Renz and Herman, 2016). This activity is important for the student becausebefore starting schooling children needs different type of basic knowledge to full fill needs ofprimary education system. This is all about improving their knowledge for primary education.EYFS is an indoor activity which is completely different form the forest schooling.Forest schooling is an outdoor activity process that is used to provide information byvisiting natural places to develop personal, professional and social skills. This not only foryounger children, this type of education can be provided to people of any age. This is all aboutlearn nature and learn some practical skills that are basically required for future. Forest schoolingis the activity that consists of both theoretical and practical activities which are design to performover all development of children. Forest schooling is a process that can help the person to learndifferent knowledge and develop self esteem in individual (Bush, Bell and Middlewood, 2019).Forest schooling is about making people aware of nature, ecosystem, role of trees in society anddifferent natural cycles that can help the student to learn about sustainability. The skillsdeveloped in forest schooling are highly valuable and important to develop skills like teamworking and problem solving in learner.The Forest Schooling topic is selected for different reasons. The EYFS system isprovided to children to develop educational skills in them but apart form this there are differentskills are required to develop in the students which is not possible in normal schooling andEYFS. EYFS process is not designed to develop practical, professional and technical skills inchildren its purpose is to provide foundation to early age children. This is important to developvarious skills in person and that is not possible with ETFS there is also need of forest schoolingto perform overall development of students. This also can teach basic survival skill to childrenwhich an help them in the disaster condition. Apart from this forest schooling is also important todevelop healthy life style in people to keep the healthy and live satisfactory life. That why forestschool topic is selected for exhibition.
