and team performance
Team leaders who are trusted by the team positively influence the team which is possible with
knowledge sharing. The trust among the team is vital as it underpins willingness to
communication which is very important for sharing the knowledge among the teams. The team
leaders in the business have the potential through which they can strongly affect the extent of
sharing the knowledge (Lee, Lee & Park, 2014).
Different activities are performed by the leader through which they can trust the teams. In the
activities, this has been found that a leader who effectively communicates with the team and
shares the knowledge with the team members for their purpose wins the trust of their employees.
The activities that are conducted include team-building exercises, development among member
and emphasised on more specific capabilities through knowledge sharing.
According to the article, this has been found that knowledge sharing in the organisation is vital
as it leads to a rise in the performance of the team. It has contributed to determine the variety of
the determinants that consists of the personality traits, communication among the team members,
styles, and knowledge sharing attitudes (Lee, Gillespie, Mann & Wearing, 2010). The element of
knowledge sharing leads to an impact on the performance of the leaders.
The results of the articles show that trust in the team is a better predictor of the knowledge
sharing among the team than the trust among the leader. Also, the formation of the team
expertise, willingness to reply leads to the rise in the knowledge sharing among the team. This
can be applied in the companies where the leaders can share the knowledge to motivate the team
