Briefly describe this leader’s background – including details such as their

Warren Buffet is an investor and philanthropist born on 30 August 1930. Buffet is an
eminent investor and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway. The great personality has been
chosen to be the 2nd most robust person in the world in 2008 having a net worth of
62 Billion USD. Born in Omaha, Nebraska, Buffet’s father used to work at his
grandfather’s grocery store. The first ITR was filed by him in 1943 for exercise
disbursement for an amount of $35 for the earnings of $175 per month as paper
deliveryman. The amount that he collected by distributing papers was enough for
him to buy 40 acres of farmland in Nebraska. It was in the year 1945 that Buffet and
one of his acquaintances spent $25 in order to buy a secondhand pinball game
machine that was placed in the workshop of a barber. This business idea had get
them possess three machines that were placed at different places within weeks
(Kashmanian, Keenan and Wells, 2010).
About the education, Buffet studied at The Wharton School, University of
Pennsylvania from 1947 through 1949 and united Alpha Sigma Phi brotherhood.
Later on, he enrolled himself at Columbia Business School because Benjamin
Graham, who was the generator of The Intelligent Investor, had studied from there
(Pugliese and Senna, 2018). Buffet was always shy to share the techniques he used
for investments purposes. However, his greatest interest had always been in
investing. He did not like persuading others to invest. He had a great understanding
of stock markets and used to spend a lot of his time in Philadelphia’s brokerage
office. By high school, Warren was deeply indulged into the world of investing and
made sure that it was the domain he wants to plan his career to move into (Just, Sığırcı
and Wansink, 2014).
He gives great investing tips that help investors learn better ways of investment. He
has learnt from Benjamin Graham that the primary theme of investment is to take
stocks as business, utilize the variations and make the margin out of it
(Chapparamani, 2012).
