INTRODUCTION
Entrepreneurship is defined as the capabilities as well as the attributes of an entrepreneur
that facilitates an individual in starting the business of a new venture. It also helps in arranging
and managing essential resources with the risks in order to generate profits. While the process of
leadership refers to the guiding, directing, leading and motivating human resources of an
organisation for achieving higher level of efficiency as well as productivity within the business.
This report is based on reflection on demonstrating the analysis, understanding and insight of
leadership style as well as entrepreneurial qualities and characteristics.

About myself
In terms of a professional individual, I have keen interest in various organisations that are
functioning within the domestic as well as global market place. I am also very curious to know
and gain the knowledge or information in respect to the large as well as medium enterprises. I
also have passion to evolve various kinds of skills as well as traits that would facilitate me in
enhancing my professional career. Presently, I am practising leadership and managerial skills so
that I can run the professional business with the management of human resources. A wide variety
of skills available which are needed to a person in order to run the functioning of business in an
effective and smooth way. As an individual professional, it is very important for me to
understand the different aspects of business in order to manage a business venture. Though, I
have different skills sets that are required to manage a business but I want to develop and
improve more skills and abilities so that I can get perfection in those skills which are required in
business management and can easily manage it. I had took participation in various internships
also which were related to the business management whose objective was to develop various
skills, abilities and capabilities of an individual. In those internships, I have developed
communication skills, team-working skills, time management skills, problem-solving skills,
decision-making skills, collaborative skills and many more. The development of these skills
would help me a lot in my later future also when I will work in any organisation to manage the
business.

Result of survey:
In relation to the two different concept of entrepreneurship as well as leadership style, I
have conducted two surveys with the people. I have conducted these surveys because they would
help me in showing the importance of these two concepts in the business management. I have
taken the feedbacks from the people who are from the field of business management. The
feedbacks taken by them has helped me a lot in understanding the significance of these two
concepts in the managing a business. I have also analysed that entrepreneurship and the
leadership style are the two main pillars of a business organisation. Feedbacks taken from the
people has facilitated me in taking the decisions related to the entrepreneurship and leadership
style that what type of businesses have which leadership style. From the result of the survey, I
have analysed that these two concepts are the main elements of a business that helps in achieving
its growth as well as success.
Leadership styles
The concept of leadership is defined as the process of leading, guiding, directing,
inspiring the members of a group so that they can do work harder and in an effective as well as
efficient manner. Leadership style is that style which facilitates the leaders of an organisation in
giving right direction, executing the plans along with stimulating the human resources of the
business. The leadership styles play a crucial part in performing different job role and also
facilitates in managing organisational resources in order to improve the productivity, efficiency
and profitability along with meeting organisational objectives. There are various kinds of
leadership style and some of these styles include democratic leadership style, autocratic
leadership style, situational leadership style and many other. I got the understanding of these
different leadership style because these would help me in performing the job role of a leader in
an organisation where I would work. I learnt that in democratic leadership style, both leaders or
managers and the employees of the organisation take participation in the process of decision-
making. Human resources give their ideas and opinions to their leaders or managers in order to
make well-informed and better decisions. I also learnt that in autocratic leadership style, only
managers or leaders of the organisation take decisions within the business and there is no
involvement of employees in the process of decision-making. Manpower are only required to
follow the instructions that are given to them by their senior managers or leaders. In situational
leadership style, I understood that it helps in adapting the management style within business for

Tesco Plc which is a UK-based company and is the largest supermarket dealing in electronics,
petrol, books, clothing, furniture, financial services, petrol, internet services, etc. I would like to
work for this organisation because it is the British multinational grocery as well as one of the
largest supermarket in the retail industry. It is diversified in many areas of the world and has
positive brand value within the markets of the global world. So, it is the major reason of working
at this organisation. Another reason to work for Tesco Plc is that the company is having highly
skilled as well as trained human resources within the organisation that help in comnducting
business operations in an effective way. By working in team with such kind of high skilled and
be used in professional life also. Entrepreneurial skills also involve leadership skills, time
management skills, etc. that would help an entrepreneur in conducting its business operations in
