This assignment delves into the realm of staff engagement, a crucial aspect of modern organizational management. It commences by formulating smart objectives to tackle operational issues and identify challenges faced by businesses in engaging their staff effectively. The report then utilizes Gantt charts to illustrate task specification, highlighting difficulties encountered in scheduling speakers for motivational activities and communicating efficiently with employees. Furthermore, the development of a budget is complicated due to funding constraints for successful business operations. In managing personal and professional work of human resource officers, effective planning is emphasized through the creation of a Priority Matrix, which aids in prioritizing routine tasks and allocating work accordingly.

LEADERSHIP

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Present report provides lights on the leadership role to conduct a specific activity in
organisation. In this assessment selected activity is staff engagement, in order to build workplace
cultural awareness where worker provide the best work as possible. In this report selected
organisation is Asaleo care who deals in manufacturing daily care products such as baby care,
feminine care etc. Asaleo care is leading company which deals in personal and hygiene care.
This is the company which engage in providing products which used in everyday need.
In this report, project scope has been selected To communicate with top level managers
and employees in analysing their issues, To determining challenges which were faced by
business in employee engagement activities, To create teams in setting company values by peer
voting process, To suggest effective methods and techniques in improving employee engagement
activities in the business. Therefore, to conduct successful business activities proper planning
through Gantt chart has been explained. Further, to manage personal and professional work as
human resource officer, proper planning has been evaluated through Priority Matrix. In this
matrix, proper execution of work has been developed so that one activity will successfully
implement.

INTRODUCTION
Company Background
Asaleo care is leading company which deals in personal and hygiene care. This is the
company which engage in providing products which used in everyday need across the Feminine
Care, Baby care etc (About Asaleo Care, 2019).
History and industry
Asaleo care established in 1932 with its head office in Box Hill Australia with 1000
employees. Company was firstly known for PEPSCA limited and in May 2014 it changes name
as Asaleo care. It manufactures and distribute its products across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji
with five manufacturing facility. It has proud heritage of more than 60 years and it get listed in
Australian Securities Exchange in June 2014.
Vision and Mission
Vision: approach is to 'take care'.
 Vision of company is to pay attention on core values that is pride, integrity and courage.
 Safe and healthy vision of company is: 'safe and healthy every day, everyone, in every
way' which indicated that company will not compromise regarding their workplace safety
to achieve business goals.
Mission:
 Mission of the company is ' to make it easier for hygiene, health and well-being to a part
of everyday life'.
Organisational structure
Its structure consists of board of directors, executive team leads and employees.
Company follows flat organisational structure where there is less involvement of management to
supervise employees and promotes more involvement of employees in decision-making process
of company.
Product/service
Products in which Asaleo care deals includes personal and hygiene care. Company
manufactures, markets, distributes and sells essentials products which is used for everyday
purpose. Popular products of company are market leading household brands like Sorbent and

Purex, Handee Ultra, Libra, TENA, Tork and Feminine care, incontinence care, baby care,
consumer tissue and professional hygiene product categories.
Importance of selected project
One day staff engagement activity is been selected in Asaleo organisation in order to
build workplace cultural awareness among employees (Storey, 2016).

From the above report it can be concluded that staff engagement is the major activity on
which there must be a development of effective practises by which their needs and wants get

fulfilled. In this report, Smart objectives have been created to investigate operational issues and
to determine challenges which faced by businesses for staff engagement. Further, specification of
task has been evaluated using Gantt chart where challenge has been faced while calling specific
speaker to attend and share their motivational views to engage staff in organisation for long term
basis. Further, while composing project scope challenges have been faced while raising
communication efficiency to employees where it is difficult to develop a comfort of trust among
them in order to know their expectation from organisation. Challenge which had been faced
while developing budget is regarding lack of funding for conducting successful business activity.

From the above section 2.2 it is concluded that human resource manager must have to
develop effective planning in order to conduct successful business activity in organisation.
Therefore, in managing personal and professional work of human resource officer, proper
planning has been created with The Priority Matrix. This is the matrix which has four
alternatives for developing routine to manage organisational work. Therefore, to conduct staff
engagement activity and to perform daily organisational activity work has been divided with four
sections, where very important work is marked in first priority, less important marked in
scheduled time and some work has been delegated to others.
