Introduction
Leadership is a skill or ability of an individual to guide or lead an individual, a team, or
the entire organisation by applying practical knowledge. School leadership is the listing of
competency skills of the teachers to achieve the educational aim of the school (Danielson, 2015).
Many leaders, educator’s and scholars would agree that learning and teaching and improving
student outcomes is the fundamental purpose of schools. Successful school leadership practices
are vital to the success of student learning outcomes and also improve high-quality learning and
teaching (Bush & Middlewood, 2019). This is a complex task for leaders and requires a strong
framework that adheres to the support of all involved.
The principal of a school needs to have the right mindset in order for this to work. The
principal's role is more with the teachers than the students, the notion of instructional leadership
as a successful leadership style. Creating dialogue and discussion amongst staff. Being able to
identify when a high impact is happening. What strategies do we need to give to teachers to
improve teaching? This paper will decipher a leadership framework that allows for high-quality
teaching and learning and identify the leadership practices needed for this to occur. This paper
will address an initiative that enhances teacher capacity and improvement in order to achieve
better student outcomes. Timperley & Robinson believe that the incorporation of three themes
are successful for learning conditions these are: empowering relationships, patterns of leadership
distribution and leadership for the improvement of teaching and learning (Timperley &
Robertson, 2011).
The fundamental purpose of any school is to provide a quality education that makes the
student learn and grow. It takes a good leader to put the right technique available and use it
efficiently to get the best out of it, and it can be achieved through a well-designed leadership

framework. The analysis deals with the conceptual framework of leadership activity for the
teachers and how teaching and learning can be improved with it because for a student to develop
professionally and personally, teaching and learning plays a vital role in one’s life. This paper
will address an initiative that enhances teacher capacity and improvement to achieve better
student outcomes. This paper will conclude with recommendations for leadership
in teaching and learning.
Justify and explanation of the framework
Leadership in teaching has a high impact on student learning. High-quality leaders in the
education field have the best impact on the development of students by setting standards and
directions for them (Bush, Bell & Middlewood, 2019). A teachers duty is to practice the art of
learning and teaching and find ways for delivering quality education among students through
various methods. Teaching without learning cannot make the students achieve success. The
framework for leadership influencing for teaching and learning suggests a conceptual method for
the teachers to assess practice and apply improvement methods for providing quality education
to the students. It explains the impact on how quality teaching can be delivered by the teachers
and make the learning process convenient for the students that should have a significant impact
on their achievement.
The framework below is an organised plan that can provide guidelines to the teacher in
primary school and explains the content to be delivered for effective teaching and learning.
According to Danielson” communication is the lifeblood of any organisation”( Danielson, 2015).
It should circulate communication among the educators, parents, students, and the community
for the smooth functioning of the institution. The framework work as the communication tool for

the teachers because professional communications form an integral part in improving the
teaching practice of the educators. The framework has divided the teaching activity into many
ways to make the work run in a structural format. The framework explains that a teacher has to
deal with many problems every day because teaching is not just following simple and traditional
ways of making the student learn, but it involves the multiple demands of the students and
parents. The teacher must create an environment that is highly effective in teaching and learning
through various roles and responsibilities. The framework suggests the ways of how these
responsibilities can be carried out to make the learning process smoother.
