Distributed leadership
The distributed leadership refers to the analytical and the conceptual approach towards
the leadership and the ways in which the leadership strategies within a given retail organisation.
The theory was initially developed for the primary purpose of researches in the educational
fields. The retail industry faces a huge impact of the distributed leadership. The distributed
leadership within the retail industry aims to deal with the growth of the overall performance
of the concerned retail industry. The distributed leadership within the industry help the
leaders of the industry to deal with the empowerment of the employees of the organisation
(Boak et al., 2015). The distributed leadership within the organisation also deals with the
acceptance of the mutual influence that exists within the given company. This in turn helps in
the increment of the employee effectiveness of the concerned company.
Strategic leadership
The strategic leadership within the retail industry refers to the ability possessed by the
concerned leader in order to play an influential role for the other employees of the organisation.
The strategic leadership within the organisation helps the concerned leader to undertake the
decisions that are implemented in order to enhance the various prospects that are helpful in the
achievement of the long-term organisational success (Simsek et al., 2015). The strategic
leadership also helps in the matters related to the maintenance of the long-term stability of the
financial aspects of the retail organisation. The different approaches towards the leadership
of the organisation leads to have an impact on the vision as well as the growth direction of the
retail organisation. This helps in the development of the potential success of the retail

The worldly leadership refers to the pooling of the talents in the matters that are related to
the combined wisdoms in the fields of leadership from all over the world. The worldly leadership
considers the wisdom of the both the ancient times as well as the contemporary theories of
leadership. The worldly leadership within the retail organisation is implemented in order to
enhance the performance of the company in the given time slot. The implementation of the
worldly leadership within the retail organisations aim to help in the improvement of the
concerned company in the matters that are related to the competitive advantage of the given
retail organisation in the market wherein the company has been active.
Followership
Followership refers to the flipside of the condition of the leadership. The followership
within the organisation aims to discuss the actions of the person who have been employed to
essay the roles of the subordinates within the company. The followership within the given
organisation is considered to be complementing the leadership within the organisation. The
followership leadership followed within the retail industry helps in the proper distribution of
the communication within the industry thereby leading to the conditions wherein the decisions
and the strategies that are implemented by the senior management of the industry are
effectively communicated throughout the concerned organisation (Mendenhall, Li & Osland,
2016). The proper followership within the given retail organisation aims to helping the
implementation of the strategies within the organisation in discussion. This helps in the
