The norms that arose in the factory are considered to be highly unethical and these norms
arose because of the lack of a concrete organizational structure, ineffective leaders and
supervisors and a proper human resource department. According to scholars a proper
organizational structure in the workforce helps in making the workplace systematic which is
beneficial for an organization (Wilden et al, 2013). It can be seen that the organization does not
have a proper system thus makes employees working according to their own wish. Ma Prieto &
Pilar Perez-Santana, (2014) opines human resource management helps in managing people and
motivating the employees in an organization. From the case study it can be seen that the factories
do not have an effective human resource department as there are no strict ground rules for people
to follow and thus the employees keep pending works. The current human resources department
of the factory does not incorporate strategies like rewards or incentive schemes that can help in
motivating employees in the workplace which reflects on the behaviors of the employees in the
factory as they do not put any emphasis on work and are rather casual about their work in the
factory.
Ineffective supervisors or a lack of a proper leader is one of the factors that have resulted
in the rise in these norms. Leaders are considered to be role models for their subordinates and
juniors in organizations (Brown & Treviño, 2014). The leaders of the factory are casual and do
not monitor and supervise the employees which have set a bad example for the employees in the
organization as well, making them casual and insincere in their approach.

The norms that have been witnessed in the case study are unethical and unfavorable for
an organization. However, the positive and healthy group dynamics within the group is essential
