future. This type of skills helps the individual to effectively communicate and co-ordinate with the others. Leadership skills facilitate

manage all the activities of the organisations in an effective manner. For this report, Tesco has been undertaken into account. It is a
British multinational grocery company that was founded in 1919 by Jack Cohen. Tesco have the supermarket across the UK and they
have mainly operations in the segment like books, clothing, electronics and financial services etc. In this report various types of
leadership and management theories will be discussed in relation to the organisation. Comparison of leadership and the management
skills will also be analysed. Along with that there will be the evaluation of the various key performance metrics in relation to the
organisation. At the end of this report there will be discussion about the management and the leadership performance.

Leadership can be defined as the quality of the individual which facilitates them to lead the operations of the employees in the

the Tesco:

the employees in the organisation. This theory explains that the leader not only focused on the goal of the organisation but
as well as they also encouraged the employees to work with their full potential. This type of theory helps the leader to
