INTRODUCTION Leadership refers to the ability of an individual or a group that provide them assistance to influence as well as guide followers or members of an organization. The leader has specific characteristics such as self-confidence, strong communication along with management skills. These skills allow them to be effective in managing an organization in an effective manner. The followingreflectionwillconsistofmecriticallyassessingmyexistingleadershipand management capabilities through a range of academic and theoretical models in order to identify my leadership strengths and weaknesses. In addition to this, it will consist of developing activities address my specific weaknesses and extend along with enhance my existing strengths. MAINBODY Addressing existing leadership and management capabilities through a range of theoretical models. There are various leadership capabilities that are essential for a leader to possess. These capabilities allow the leaders to effectively guide individuals and have optimal management capabilities as well(Yu., 2017) . Given below are my leadership strengths as well as weakness along with management capabilities: Leadership capabilities: Communication: I have great communication skills that allow me to be effective in sharing my opinions as well as the ability to understand the perspective of other people. This allows me to be better in directing as well as guiding individuals. Motivation: I lack in my motivation leadership skills as I am not able to understand what motivates individuals to performance specific task. This skill is necessary for me to attain as it will allow me to improve the performance and productivity of others.
Creativity: I have optimal creativity skills that allow me to be effective in developing solutions to issues that individuals may encounter. In addition to the leadership skill of creativity allow me to be effective in developing strategies that are effective in improving the performance of others. Responsibility: The leadership skills of responsibility are weak relative to me as I can encounter issues in taking on important responsibilities. This negatively impacts my overall performance and management abilities which are detrimental for my leadership role(Anthony., 2017). Management capabilities: Organizing: I lack effective organizing skills that have a negative impact on how I can organize various aspects. This has a negative impact on my overall productivity as well as performance along with reducing my ability to manage. Planning: I have optimal planning skills that allow me to develop system structures relative to management. The planning management skills allow me to be proactive and plan for situations that can have negative impact. Problem solving: I have effective problem solving skills which are combined with my leadership skill of creativity. This enables me to overcome complex issues in an effective manner. In addition to this it helps me to develop optimal strategies within the management(Farrell., 2018). Delegation: I am not able to effectively delegation duties and role in an optimal manner. This result in dysfunctional and results in reducing performance as I am not aware of what duties are suitable for specific individuals.
Developing and planning range of leadership and management developmental activities. There are various leadership and management activities that I can utilize in order to develop specific skills and enhance my strengths and eliminate weakness. Given below are various plans of leadership and management that will help in my development: Objective setting: This plan of setting specific objectives will allow me to effective enhance my leadership as I can enhance my organizing skills effective through development of short term objectives. Setting of objectives will allow me to effectively organize things in an optimal manner improving my productivity. Understand importance of feedback: I need to focuses on understanding and taking effective feedback form individuals which will allow me to delegate duties in an optimal way. In addition to this feedback will enable me to effectivelydeterminewhatdutiesaresuitableforspecificindividuals(Chatziantoniou, Politopoulos and Stylianidis., 2017). Team work: Theactivityofteamworkwillallowmetounderstandtheleadershipskillsof responsibility in an effective manner. Through teamwork I can develop and strengthen my skills of responsibility which will result in improving my overall perforce and provide aid to my other skills. Setting values: The activity of setting value will allow me to enhance my motivation skills. Through setting of effective values I can understand what motivates individuals in an optimal manner. This will enable me to provide individuals with high level of motivation as well as satisfaction to improve their productivity(Peck., 2018).

There are various skills that I have and provide me assistance in being effective leaders. Although there are skills that I need to develop through optimal strategies as well as personal development activities. Through development activities I can enhance my strengths as well as eliminate my weaknesses which will help me enhancing my overall performance as well as prod relative to my management skills.
