INTRODUCTION
Leadership development plan is known as the strategic plan which is designed for helping
the employees develop and gain the competencies of leadership and prepare them for the
leadership and management roles in the business organization. It is\ usually a structured,
personalized and long term for the innovative requirements of the employees and business
enterprise( Bhagra and Sharma, 2018). It outlays the learning objectives and tasks of the
employee is going to do for reaching the objectives and goals. Plans of leadership are very
crucial for the individual life’s in times of crisis. This project is made in for preparing and
presenting the plan for the self-development in a specified time period and what is the reason for
opting this time period. Further the usage of different models based on or anchored by the
established personal development model and its justification. The resources will also be
mentioned for demonstration of the factors responsible for increased awareness.
MAIN BODY
Leadership is known as the constant evolving skill. By the learning more about self, strengths
and weaknesses you may determine the requirements and gain the idea about aspects which the
individual needs to improve. For the encouragement of personal and professional growth,
tailored leadership plans may be developed. Customized plan aids in guiding for where you want
to be in the particular times period by enhancing self-awareness and modification of the
behaviour ( Bottomley and Willie Burgess,2018. Good leaders know very well for how to
change their behaviours and develop self-awareness, which contributes to the behaviour change.
By this way leadership is the cycle of self-perpetuating. Change of behaviour in scope of
becoming the better listener for creation of the organization vast change or the diversity attitude.
Plan of leadership development is the comprehensive plan which aids in
establishment of career on the strategic path of leadership. In shorty it is a vision
statement aiming at determination of where the individual wants to be in next 5- 7
years of time by analysing the present situation and strategic strengths. As a leader
I need to react appropriately and respond ti various situations effectively. By
enhancing the self-awareness as the leader I enhance the ability for managing the
learning by the creation of a leadership plan. An effective leadership plan must be
documented and easy in accessing (Prommer, Tiberius, and Kraus, 2020).
