1. Bring together the outcomes from your leadership self-insight quizzes
The first part has provided in-depth overview about my leadership self-insight. Before
analyzing leadership self-insight I have attended several tests or quiz by using specific diagnostic
tools. The diagnostic tools are related to my leadership qualities and competencies. I have given
assessment based on three tools including situational leadership skills, emotional intelligence
skills and interpersonal communication skills. In my situational leadership skill I have scored
high that implies that I am accustomed and competent in handling any kind of situations
happened at the workplace. As a business leader, I may have to face numerous unexpected
situations due to employee absenteeism, lack of cooperation, miscommunication so on.
However, I am very much confident and competent in handling any kind of crisis raised
suddenly. Employees working under me can work being happy and enthusiastic. I do not prefer
to make my work environment suffocating. If any employee faces health issue at the workplace I
try to stretch my hand towards the individual. I have made an effective team rapport with each
other based on which employees can get any kind of cooperation from me due to their health
issue. On the other hand, in case of any kind of crucial situation happened due to customer
dissatisfaction I have the ability to communicate with the customers properly.
My interpersonal communication skill is not effective due to which I have gathered very
low score in this part. People having language barrier faces challenges in communicating with
me. Large number of employees is there associated with my organization that have language
barrier. I am only comfortable in maintaining verbal communication. My non-verbal
communication skill is very poor. I cannot express my opinion and point of views by showing
my facial expression and body language. Naturally, people from different cultural backgrounds

and attitudes are not very flexible in communicating with me. Due to language barrier I fail to
make effective face to face communication. Proper face to face communication is very important
for resolving any kind of business issues happened at the workplace. It is however undeniable
that due to the lack of non-verbal communication knowledge and multi-lingual flexibility I am
unable to understand the major concern of those employees. Naturally, they fail to show their
best endeavour towards the services. However, in order to become an efficient leader I would
have to improve my interpersonal communication skill so that employees can share their views
and thoughts with me.
The third and the last assessment that I have given includes my emotional intelligence
skill. In this very specific test I have made high score. As a successful leader I have received
immense positive feedback from my colleagues due to my quick customer service. As a team
leader I have the capability of getting employee productivity at the right time. Employees prefer
to deliver the services within stipulated time due to effective team bonding and communication.
By maintaining participative form of decision making style I can share my views and thoughts
with my team members. As a result, they can get the opportunity of sharing a good bond with
me.
If the employees understand my direction I never tend to show my rude attitude towards
this individual. I always prefer to show my sympathetic outlook towards my team members so
that employees do not get afraid of the workplace. They should deliver the solution by enjoying
their work activities. I have also observed that people are from different psychological
backgrounds. Therefore, while taking collective decision they tend to provide their different
opinions towards each other. My emotional intelligence skill does not allow the employees in
showing biased approach towards any individual. I always prefer to give equal priority and

response to all of my team members. Due to the genuine cases of absenteeism I prefer to become
friendly with my employees. As a result, after joining to the office they tend to show their best
effort towards the services. In addition, I have also observed that sometimes I become rude in
handling overburden of pressure. This kind of approaches can be controlled after taking an
effective training session from an expert. However, in order to get the best productivity from
employees I should have lenient behavioural approaches. Otherwise, I would never be able to get
good performances from the employees.
2. Leadership strength and weakness
While discussing my strengths as a leader I have observed that my extrovert nature in
becoming friendly with anyone and with any situation is my biggest strength. As a result, new
team members do not have to face challenges in making rapport with me. In addition, I have also
observed that I can easily maintain a friendly work environment within my team due to my over
extrovert nature. Employees working under me can work being happy and enthusiastic. I do not
prefer to make my work environment suffocating. People can work with enthusiastic zeal in my
team due to agile work environment.
However, I cannot be indifferent towards my weakness in the role of leader. I have
observed that my situational leadership quality is not very high. I have to face immense
difficulties in handling any kind of crisis being unable to handle major situation effectively. In
addition, my decision making skill and time management competency is very poor. I cannot take
proper decision at the right time due to which the crisis situation increases eventually. Therefore,
it is however undeniable that I need to focus on improving my management quality.

3. The need for more information on your behaviours
After getting feedback from my leaders I got additional information about my strengths
and weaknesses. As per my strengths, I have good communication skill with the help of which I
can easily interact with the team members. By maintaining participative form of decision making
style I can share my views and thoughts with my team members. As a result, they can get the
opportunity of sharing a good bond with me. In this kind of situation, I have observed that team
productivity becomes very much high. The team members do not show their reluctant attitude in
providing additional effort for team. As a successful leader I have received immense positive
feedback from my colleagues due to my quick customer service. As a team leader I have the
capability of getting employee productivity at the right time. As a result, customers do not have
to wait for a long time in order to receive services. Employees prefer to deliver the services
within stipulated time due to effective team bonding and communication. If any employee faces
health issue at the workplace I try to stretch my hand towards the individual. In a word, I as a
leader am known for co-operative and emphatic towards employees. My emotional intelligence
skill is very high.
My English communication skill is very fluent. At the same time, it is also undeniable
that I do not have multi-lingual flexibility. Naturally, people having language barrier faces
challenges in communicating with me. Large number of employees is there associated with my
organization who have language barrier as well as cultural barrier. These people are very much
helpless in sharing their difficulties facing at the workplace. On the other hand, I have also
observed that my technological competency is not very updated with the gradual progress of
globalization. With the rhythmic flow of business, customers become accustomed with
digitalized services. Organizations are implementing global counting software in order to expand

the business in international market. In comparison to that business scenario, I am very much
backdated in handling advanced technology. I am only habituated in operating regional
accounting software. But I have observed that my organization is interested in implementing
IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) in order to deal with foreign investors.
This is the crucial situation with which I have to deal in my organization. Being unable to
operate international accounting standard I have to face challenges in meeting organizational
goals and objectives.

6. Specify actions to achieve each developmental objective
Based on every single developmental objective I need to take specific actions which are as
follows:
1. Direct the team towards right path with the help of which we can meet organizational
target
Action: In quest of direct the team members towards similar goal I will have to make a
group communication first. The primary objective of this group communication is to set the
organizational objectives and convey this message to the employees equally about our
organizational mission and vision. At the same time, I would have to take an initiative or
planning method on how to meet our goal. Group activity as per my point of view will be the
most effective ways of meeting organizational target rather than focusing on individual activity.
Senior and junior employees need to show their cooperative outlook with each other. As a result,
entire team would be able to work in a collaborative way.
2. Expand my widespread hand towards my team members so that they can deliver the work
being friendly and co-operative without keeping any personal grudge
Action: In order to meet this objective I would like to follow participative leadership
style at the workplace. With the help of an effective leadership style employees can get the
opportunity to share their views and thoughts with me. On the other hand, I have also focused to
make collective decision while making any business decision at the workplace. With the
implementation of participative form of decision making style both the business leaders and
employees can get equal opportunity in providing their own opinion. Therefore, I would be able
to make an effective internal bonding.

3. Meet organizational productivity by enhancing my management skill as well as emotional
intelligence skill
Action: In order to enhance my management skill I would have to take proper
management training at my workplace. The human resource managers will hire a professional
expert for me who will provide effective training session to develop my skill and competency.
Automatically, my decision making skill and time management competency will be high. On the
other hand, it has also been observed that emotional intelligence quality in an in born capacity
that the leader can never develop and incorporate within nature. In order to capture my emotional
intelligence skill and quality I would have to show my sympathetic nature towards employees. I
should never impose my own decision on the employees. In addition, I would have to focus on
any kind of health and psychological issue faced by the employees at workplace. By gaining
these psychological challenges I would be able to direct the employee towards right path.
4. Hold senior position by improving my flaws and overcoming the challenges with proper
training
Action: In order to hold senior position from a leader to a manager I would have to focus on
overcoming my flaws which I have identified. I would have to receive training on
communication skill for rendering multilingual flexibility. I would have to focus on enhancing
my decision making skill as well as time management skill. In addition, I would not have to face
any challenges in dealing with the customers as well as with the internal stakeholders.

8. Describe the mechanisms you will use to get feedback on your leadership behaviours and
track your progress
In order to get time to time feedback on my leader skill and behaviour I would like to
keep the track by using technological equipments. In every three months I will make a survey
form based on my leadership skill and capability. I would like to distribute this form to the email
ids of every employee associated with my organization. On the other hand, employees who are
not very advanced in operating technological devices can fill a printed hardcopy as well. On the
other hand, I can use social media platform as well for collecting wide range of views from the
employees about my leadership skills and qualities. In the social media platform I would like to
give preferences in forming descriptive questionnaires. In this descriptive form of questionnaires
the employees would get the scope of delivering their comments in an elaborated way. As a
result, I would get better scope and opportunity to understand my flaws and improve my skills in
accordingly.
9. Describe your strategy to review and revise your plan in future
In order to review and revise my future plan I would like to communicate with my human
resource managers in order to know organizational competency at the current market situation. If
my organization is currently unable to afford sufficient amount of money for the purpose of my
training I can revise my future plan. I would like to avail free online courses from where I will
get effective ideas on how to enhance my communication skill and increase management
competency. Apart from attending online training program I can take guidance from my senior

employees as well. With the help of an effective suggestion from my senior I would be able to
enhance my experience as well. An effective experience from my seniors is very much valuable
for enhancing my future path.

After making an effective discussion with my senior supervisors they have provided me
effective suggestions regarding my way of improvement as a leader. As per their point of view,
my decision making skill and time management competency is very poor. I cannot take proper
decision at the right time due to which the crisis situation increases eventually. They have stated
that I do not have multi-lingual flexibility. Large number of employees is there associated with
my organization that has language barrier as well as cultural barrier. For them I need to gather
multilingual flexibility. I have also observed that my technological competency is not very
updated with the gradual progress of globalization. I am very much backdated in handling
advanced technology. I am only habituated in operating regional accounting software.
Based on my drawback, they have provided me effective recommendations which are as
follows:
I need to enhance my technological competency with the help of which I can operate global
accounting standard. With the help of technological advancement I can handle sudden
technological barriers as well. In addition, I can help my employees as well who are not
competent enough in their technological skill and capabilities
I would have to receive training on communication skill for rendering multilingual
flexibility. People who are facing challenges in communicating with me due to language
barrier would get benefits if I have multilingual flexibility. At the same time, I would have to

communicated in case of their formal communication method.
I would have to focus on enhancing my decision making skill as well as time management
skill. I become confused in taking proper decision at the crucial time. As a result, the process

challenges in meeting customers’ satisfaction level. Lack of decision making skill can
hamper my career as well.
My seniors have suggested me that I need to improve my personal development skill along
with my patience. I do not keep my patience while handling any crisis. In this situation, I
tend to react very bad on employees. This kind of nature has left immense negative
impression on my personal growth and career. In order to overcome this situation, I would
have to work on controlling behavioural approaches at the crucial times.
