 Leadership is highly critical for managing crisis situations and
challenges in the organization (Frankel, Gelman and Pastor
2018).
 It implies the ability of the leader to influence the subordinates to
perform effectively.
 It is the characteristics and the ability of the leaders and their
approach which leads to the success of the organization(Drennan,
McConnell and Stark 2014).
 The leadership approach implemented helps to deal with
different crisis and challenges.
 The main goal of this presentation is to analyze the case study
and evaluate the leadership styles implemented.
Introduction

 The new CEO George Anderson identifies various crisis
prevailing in the firm regarding its growth and profitability.
 There are lack of vision and focus in the firm which has led
to the crisis.
 He implemented a four day week-off to manage the crisis
situations.
 He gained the support of the chairman and the union
leaders based on the ground of equal treatment to both blue
collar and white collar.
 However this has led to various criticisms and struggles.
