EXECUTIVE SUMMARYCompany A is A 200 years old firm, which is famous across the world. The changesoccurred in the organization when it is acquired by the large organization Co B. It was acquiredto increase the profitability and productivity within the firm. Acquisition brings structural andcultural changes within the organization, the main change that occurred in the organization is itsleadership practice. The acquisition was done for increasing the profit sharing ratio of the firmand to enhance its productivity. The company is trying to give its best to bring innovations andspecifications into its working. Many employees of Co A was not satisfied with its acquisitionsas they tend to leave the company because they believe the opportunities after the acquisition isnot as per their requirements and not suitable for them. INTRODUCTIONLeading and managing changes occurring in the organization is one of the most crucialaspect of the organization. It revolves around developing skills among the employees foracquiring occurring changes. Generally changes occurred to modify the working of theorganization and to enhance the productivity and profitability of the organization. Leading andmanaging changes is the concept which deals with the variations that are taking place in theorganization. Their main significance is to increase the profit sharing ratio of the organizationand to provide overall development to the organization. The main focus of this report is revolvesaround the acquisition of Co A by large organization Co B. it occurs for increasing theproductivity and profitability of the organization. Co A is approximately 200 years old firmwhich is famous across the world. As per the modernization, Co A adopted the approaches of thetransformational leadership within their organization. The main significance of thetransformational leadership practice is that in helps in bringing changes among individual andsocial system of the organization. It also helps in creating and generating positivism among theemployees for establishing their values and tends to develop the leadership qualities among eachand every member of the organization. Tranformational leadership approach is very positive andit bring motivation among the employees regarding their jobs ad provide satisfaction to them.Before acquisition, the Co A also initiated measures to bring decentralized culture within theorganization by developing teams for short period of time, this provide methods to develop thestaff more effectively and efficiently. The working patterns of the Co A, before acquisition are

based on the criteria of developing individual along with the organization. But after the companyis being acquired by the large organization Co B, there are various of changes that occurred inthe organization. Before acquisition company is following transformational leadership techniquetheir employees are highly motivated and satisfied, but as soon as acquisition takes place theleadership strategy was converted into autocratic leadership style, Autocratic leadership style isalso known as authorized or dominant leadership style, in this the leader controls all thedecisions and role of others in decision making process is relatively less, generally autocraticleaders are those who take all the decisions, judgements and ideas without consulting others.They rarely take advice from others and behave in a very dominant manner. As the companystarted following autocratic leadership style it creates a adverse effe3ct on the employees of theorganization, as this leadership style is not used by many organisation because it tends to create asense of demotivation and dissatisfaction among the employees. The main aim of this report is toanalyse and evaluate the changes occurred in Co A, and their impact on the employees. Thereport will concentrate on the changes occurred in leadership, information system, operationsand finance. It will also lay emphasis on the challenges of the operational and strategicalmanagement and leadership patterns of the organisation. The main aim of this report is toanalyse the strategies and operation to evaluate whether the acquisition is successful or it proveto be failure. ANALYSIS Leadership is the foundation of any organization, as it the main criteria which is used toprovide guidance to all the other members of the organization. Leaders are the one who leads theworking of an organization (De Hoogh, 2015). They influence others in order to complete thework in a desired manner. Leadership is the working base of the organization without it, itbecomes very difficult for the organizations to work in a desired manner. Organizations can notwork properly without the proper leader. It provides goals and objectives to the organization andalso provides guidance to accomplish that goals and objectives. It is consi benefits andcompensations from their new leaders and organizational heads and because of thisdered as amost significance measure to analyze the working of the organization (Chege, 2015). Leadership is a very huge concept and there are number of theories, concepts and modelsthat are present regarding the different measure of the leadership. All other members of theorganization follow their leader to develop and built the values and the vision of their work.
