Conflict management strategy for Partner
The strategy of accommodation is to be utilised as this particular strategy will be
importantly involving providing the opposite side what he actually wants. The conflict can be
finally ended by directly accommodating all the wishes of the partner present in the opposite
side. This strategy will be helping a lot in keeping great pace and also in perceiving the
specific issue as a quite minor one (Redpath et al., 2013). This will be even be helping a lot in
keeping piece and when this strategy will be taken up as a primary strategy for the
management of conflict there will be no bitterness at all. Another one is simply utilising the
strategy of just avoiding. The strategy of avoidance will be seeking for putting off the conflict
in an indefinite way. By ignoring the conflict the problem can be easily resolved itself
without any kind of confrontation (Monroe, Plate & Oxarart, 2013). The strategy of
competing can also be utilised which will be just like a zero-sum game within which one of
the sides will be winning and the other one will be losing and this strategy will be best suited
for this case as this situation can be easily considered to be an emergency one. There must be
comprising one as well as this strategy of compromising will be involving both the sides of
the conflict for offering various elements in order to greatly establish a specific kind of
solution (Bundy, Shropshire & Buchholtz, 2013). So here, when a building is to be built,
there must be equal concerns and decisions from both the sides and both must come up to a
common solution. It can be easily said here that instead of further arguing upon all the
various layouts as well as designs, a great focus must be kept upon the fact that the process is
being delayed to a great extent (Thamhain, 2013). It is to be remembered that due to this
delay the builders are also not being able to obtain the final estimation of the cost. It may also
happen that there may be total miss in utilising all the various advantages of the recent
promotion of the free 5kW solar energy system. Various things are to be kept in mind instead
of just conflicting and there must be a common solution produced as fast as possible. The
opposite side must be understanding the situation and act depending upon it instead of just
arguing and the conflict must be handled with piece and proper exchange of communication.
Conflict management strategy for Builder
In case of the builders, it is to be understood that for the delay in coming up to a
common decision there is definitely a great delay in the work which is to be done by them. It
is to be well understood that there are a number of difficulties which have been faced by the
builders in estimating the cost. At first, the builder must be allowed to speak whatever he

wants and must be well understood that there is really the chance of losing the advantage of
the recent promotion. After that, as per the strategy of compromising, both the sides must be
definitely involved so that a solution can be reached (Sidaway, 2013). The problem of the
partner must be well said to the builder so that the reason of delay can be well understood by
the builder and so that they can be able to provide a proper suggestion. It is to be well said to
them that significant increase in the salary of the partner is also due which may be even
leading to the loss of the eligibility of applying for the program of Keystart. The builders, on
the other side, must understand that this is also a reason which is greatly leading towards
setting up common decisions. This particular strategy of compromising is observed to be
prevailing in all the various conflicts where both the parties will be observed to be holding
approximately equal amount of power (Kazadi, Lievens & Mahr, 2016). Partners are the
stakeholders who will be actually giving all the instructions and builders are all those who
will be actually performing the work in an efficient manner. Hence, in case of the builders,
the strategy of compromising must be well utilised.
Leadership Style
The visionary leadership style is considered to be best suited for this scenario (Noe et
al., 2017). A visionary leader will be basically the one who will be well focusing upon being
greatly inspiring and will be providing the entire team with a proper direction without
mandating how to finally get there. This specific kind of style will be greatly encouraging all
the various members of the team for taking an initiative whenever any issue is to be resolved
or several goals are to be met. As it can be understood here that this will be definitely
creating a number of results which will be greatly positive. This style of leadership can also
be utilised whenever each and every members of team are required for sharing information
(Zulch, 2014). The main thing which is very much important to remember is that there must
be a great focus upon leveraging experience, self-confidence, knowledge as well as empathy.
In this scenario, it has been observed that there has been a number of conflicts which have
been going on and this is leading to a great delay in the entire process of the project
(Cunningham, Salomone & Wielgus, 2015). By utilising this particular style, the partners
must be resolving their individual and personal conflicts and start becoming visionary
leaders. They are actually considered to be the main stakeholders in the entire project and
hence they possess a great responsibility in leading the project towards a successful direction
(Trivellas & Drimoussis, 2013). They must be well focusing upon being very much inspiring
and must be providing all the builders of their dream house an exact proper direction. They
