Introduction
Lean thinking is considered as one of the common information about the methods used
by an organization for operation. However, the lean principles help to improve operation
constantly and emphasize on the procedure of delivering particular value to customers as well as
enterprises. It also assists in rethinking the principles as well as practices for several years. There
is a new and transformative approach followed by the enterprise in operation. Present study deals
with management methodologies of World Congress in Information Technology (WCIT) 2018
held in Hyderabad, India. In the study, voice of the customers and their requirements, Critical
Quality Parameters (CTQ) and the procedure of implementing the project are discussed.
Moreover, agile practices and Lean Six Sigma are explained with respect to the selected case
study.
About World Congress in Information Technology (WCIT) 2018
World Information Technology and Services Alliance is considered as the most
comprehensive as well as influential entity that represents information and communication
technology along with service industry in the world (Bascoul, Tommelein & Tuholski, 2016).
The awards help to recognize the entities that made the most important contributions to mankind
in 2018. World Information Technology and Services Alliance first held the Olympics of global
ICT industry in 1978. It has become one of the premier international ICT forums that bring more
than 2500 visionaries, captains of industry as well as government leaders and academics, which
are more than 80 countries. The 22nd edition of WCIT was held from 19th-21st February 2018 in
India.

Nicholas and Steyn (2017) stated that Voice of the customer is a term used in business as
well as information technology in order to explain in-depth procedure of capturing expectations,
preferences as well as aversions. In World Congress in Information Technology (WCIT) 2018,
the customers are mainly the participants of the program. The major expectations of the
participants are gaining and displaying knowledge for ideas, innovation, strategy, business as
well future. In addition, showcasing immersive experience in business, technology and
leadership and watching achievement of others are the expectations of the customers in World

international ICT platforms, dependent on processing of the event. The event is a seminar based
on the response of the viewers. It is significant to organize committee to seek the significance of
project management as well as the sole reason that the management of business processing
manage with the assistance of voice of customers who are considered significant in nature. The
requirements of consumers are considered due to the revenue generated from sponsors. It leads
to the fact the data management is performed with the highest efficiency and became the sole
reason for implementing the project.
This is one of the reasons that deployment of Voice of Customers had an impact on

any kind of issues in the main processing of the event is maintained through fulfilment of the
