Learning and Development Challenges in Indian Organizations and Career Development in Colleges of Malakand Division of Pakistan

This presentation discusses two articles. The first article by Panda, Karve and Mohapatra (2014) discusses the challenges faced by learning leaders in Indian organizations. challenges that are currently faced by the learning leaders who have
been present within the Indian subcontinent.

The authors tend to review the literature that is existent within the
scope of the given organization. The authors tend to undertake the
qualitative research based on the secondary data in order to compose
the given article.

The authors of the article argue the fact that the learning function
within the given organization tends to be influencing the matters that
are majorly related to the development of the talent pool within the
given concern.
• Conclusion
The article concludes on the discussion of the various challenges that
might be faced by the concerned organization while implementing the
activities of learning and development among the staff of the
organization.

Article 2 – Career Development
• Objective
Rahman et al., (2016) opines that the knowledge of the present and the
current situations is very important for the survival of the concerned business
organizations.
• Method
The authors conducted the study on the teaching staff who were employed in
the college sectors of the Malakand Division situated at the Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan. The sstudy was composed on the basis of the 395
responses that are collected from the staff at 75 different colleges. The
population that was analyzed for the completion of the study consisted of
around 2200 people.

• Argument
The authors of the article argue that the management of the career of
the concerned employees is one of the important parts of the learning
culture that is maintained within the organization.
• Conclusion
The article in discussion concludes with the learning and the
development within an organization. The authors argue that the
organizations that put forth learning aim to achieve the development in
the competencies of the various teams and the individuals.

Contribution
The articles in discussion contribute a huge lot to the implementation
of the development of the career and the development of learning and
the capabilities of the concerned employees.
