Introduction
 Learning and development is a term which is used to describe each element used by
business in order to encourage professional development among employees which includes
training courses, development programs and online development activities.
 The present study also helps to understand the importance of coaching skills within an
individual in order to become a coach.
 For that, PPT complete the coaching self-assessment tool in order to determine the 2 key
areas of development.
 Further, it also focused upon development plan by undertaking 2 areas based upon coaching
model.

other people so that I can advise accordingly.

more attentive and do not interrupt between

understand thoughts and feelings. Also, I asked different
types of question in order to understand the issue and
perception of people.
7 To improve the same, I start avoid the use of
rhetorical questions.
Building Rapport Building Rapport used by making eye contact and learning
forward that helps to feel understood. This in turn helps to
make effective relationship

Giving Feedback I used this skill in order to identify my weakness by
colleagues so that effective changes can be done. Through

Empathizing I used this skill when one of the team member may hurt
physically and then I show kindness in order to understand

individual also set up the development plan that
helps to improve the skills and also attain the
goals i.e. to become a coach.

 By summing up above report it has been concluded that that with the help of self-assessment tool,
individual can determine which skills need to be improved and focused in order to become a
coach.
 Further, there are two main key areas identified by using self-assessment tool which include
communication skill and self-improvement that need to be overcome by using effective
development plan.
 Also, by using development plan, the weaknesses can be minimized and this in turn helps to attain
the defined goals within near future. It further included different strategies that assists to generate
the best outcomes and met goal as well.
