INTRODUCTION
Reflection is defined as the process or activity that allow an individual to express their ideas,
experiences and point of views to others. It helps in developing critical thinking skills as well as
enables to improve future course of actions to attain determined goals and objectives on time
with greater efficiency and effectiveness. Reflective learning is considered as the exploration of
experiences in order to enhance awareness of human being regarding their actions. Reflection is
important process because it allows students to make sense of experience in relation to oneself
and others. Learning and development is defined as the systematic process which is related to
enhancing own skills, knowledge and competencies that help in attaining specific goals and
objectives. Reflection facilitates students to express their feeling and experiences regarding their
learning and development activities. Personal development plan helps in concentrating on weak
areas that needs improvement for performing determined task and functions in best possible
manner. Reflection helps in reimagine experiences that provide benefits in future personal and
social benefits. Reflection enables an individual to analyse their skills, capabilities and
competencies that are leant by them during specific situation and experiences. The aim of this
report is reflect on learning and development, continuous improvement. Along with that,
reflection on presentation and personal development plan is explained in this report.
TASK
Reflection on learning and development
Reflection on learning and development process: Learning and development is defined as an
extensive process that help an individual to enhance their value, acquire new skills and
capabilities and competencies. I have adopted effective learning and development process that
help me to improve my performance and attain desirable outcome (Béres, and Fook, eds., 2019).
I have used systematic process to improve my learning that help me to achieve objective of
continuous growth, higher productivity and effectiveness. There are various stages are included
in learning and development process that is used by me to develop my learning and perform
efficiently.
Determine need: First of all, I have analysed all needs of learning and development that
help me to perform my task in best possible manner. I have identified specific areas in
my personality that need improvement.

Plan learning and development process: In this stage, I have planned systematic
learning and development process such as required material, sources and other things that
are necessary for acquiring necessary skills.
Implement learning and development plan: I have implemented L&D plan in
appropriate manner that help me in attaining specific skills used in performing
determined task or operations.
Monitor or measure the progress: In this stage, I have measured all improvement in my
personality to access its effectiveness of overall learning and development process. I have
also taken some corrective actions to acquire relative capabilities.
Gibbs reflective model: Gibbs reflective model is defined as the framework for examining
experience in specific situation. There are various stages are included in Gibbs reflective model
such as description, feeling, evaluation, analysis, conclusion and action plan that helped I express
my feeling, experience and learnings in effective manner. I have gone through all these stages
and express my point of view regarding my experience and learning (Chang, 2019)
(Cunliffe, and Easterby-Smith, 2017). I have learnt various skill and capabilities that help me to
attain determined objective in best possible manner.
Learning from module: There are various skills, capabilities and competencies are learnt by me
that help me to perform my operations in best possible manner and attain determined goals and
objectives. I have learnt various skills such as decision-making, planning, coordination,
teamwork, communication, critical thinking and other. Throughout the module, I have learnt how
to communicate with others, work in team and understand others point of views that lead my
actions towards right direction. This module develop the skill required to take on-site
responsibilities, predict situation and project management that help me in future.
How these learning are important?
As I have learnt various skills and capabilities during the module that help me to take effective
decisions, resolve problems and work with other team members with greater coordination (Dai,
2019). It helps me take effective course of action that help to attain determined goals and
objectives. Thus, all these learning plays important role in my growth and development.
