INTRODUCTIONLearning is an essential thing which is helpful in development of an individual. Bylearning various number of things, a person growth will take place (Akyol and Garrison, 2011).This present report is based on Poshby Departmental Store which deals in luxury products andservices. Their managers have to learn many things through which they can maintaindevelopment of organisation as well as themselves. In this assignment group of managers getselected for whom various number of stages are identify which enable in design, deliver andevaluate effective learning and development event in a proper manner. MAIN BODY1. Learning and developmentLearning and development commonly emphasis on training and growth of an individualso that their skills get enhance and they become able to sustain at keen competitive world in anadequate manner. Learning and development aid in improving skills and competency of a personso that it will support in increasing organisation productivity and efficiency (Bonk and Graham,2012). It not only extent to a person growth but support in organisation development as well.Along with this, it also work as an motivational factor for an employee in an organisation. Poshby Departmental Store have to formulate a group of managers which really requiredtraining which support in improving situation of decline in their profitability. Hence, thisgrouping required the overall performance of each and every individual and then managementhave to take some appropriate action for them. Hence, an effective learning and developmentevent will going to organise by bank which involve several number of stages in its designing,delivering of value and made a positive impact on them. Hence, all the outcome can only getattain by engaging only such employees which really required this learning and developmentsession for betterment. 2. Stages involve in learning and development design, deliverOrganiser have to identify the need of L&D event and then frame several stagesaccording to that. A major reason behind conducting this programme is to improve effectivenessand efficiency of bank so that such decline in growth can be maintain and improve. This needtheir managers to get more training as well as opportunities for better future (Graham, 2013).
