Learning outcomes are statements concerning what you would like to have accomplished in your learning by the end of a module or degree programme.
Learning outcomes may focus on:
your personal learning goals
particular achievements you would like to aim for (such as a mark or degree class)
specific knowledge or techniques you would like to acquire
transferable skills that could contribute to your employability
progression towards larger learning goals.
These learning outcome statements may be more meaningful if you think about and reflect on the wider context of your own learning journey as
you develop them.
To help you this semester, you need to think about your own learning and elements that you would like to concentrate on this semester. I encourage you
to think about what you would like to achieve, what skills you want to learn and how you might achieve these through your readings and discussions with
me and your fellow students.
Take some time to consider these in the first 2 weeks of this session and complete the template supplied. You will need to refer back to this for your
last assessment. You will need to submit these by Friday of week 2.

On completion of this subject, students should be able to:
1. Critically reflect on how clinical decisions are made by advanced practitioners;
2. Discuss barriers that may impede effective decision making and identify solutions to manage
the;
3. Demonstrate clinical judgment through the overt association connecting health history,
assessment and nursing care;
4. Relate the processes of clinical assessment to the delivery of patient care, by selecting and
implementing appropriate assessment techniques;
5. Critically reflect on practice and recognise the role of reflection in practice development
