Reflection 2
Workshop-7
Workshop description
In week 7, workshop- 7 held on different topics, related research work, such as Research
approaches, Data types, Data sources, and Ethics. During that week, I also learnt about
interviewing and observing. Workshop was ended with the discussion held on data analysis and
assumption testing topics.
Thoughts and feelings during the workshop
During workshop, I was a bit nervous in start, but after sometime, it seemed quite interesting.
As I learnt many things related to the design process like sources of primary and secondary, pros
and cons of these sources. Secondary topic was Ethics and many activities as ethical group
discussion, Interviewing for Design Projects were conducted including ethics.
Thoughts and feelings after the workshop:
Now that I was given a few days to think about the experience, I was surprised to the level of
knowledge and ethical skills that I have obtained during my whole tenure in workshop.
What can you learn from this workshop?
I leant that I had many weak points from interview point of view, hence I can modify those
attributes of myself, which are necessary for the interview process.
What can do to develop yourself further in the context of this workshop?
I need to become more effective and my behavior of observing is changed. I could start a
research base project.
