INTRODUCTION Student Support Services are basically a list of services provided by the university to their students in order to facilitate their success at the learning institution. The report will cover the reflection on different support services available to student at Leeds Trinity University. Lastly, the portfolio will cover when I will use this services and how this services help in university and my future employment. Reflection Being a student of Leeds Trinity University, I have found out that there is various student support service provided by university to their students. The various support services I have enjoyed at university are as follows: CareerCounselling:ThefirstserviceIhaveenjoyedatmyuniversityiscareer counselling. I have attended career counselling workshop at Leeds Trinity University the impact of which I am able to explore my assets, skills and motivations. With the help of this service, I am able to decide whether I wants to join job or start my own business. In simple term, I am able to decide that at starting point in order to gain more skills, I need to join a company as a marketing executive role rather than starting my own business. The career counselling has helped me a lot in deciding my future direction at that point when I’m not quite sure which direction to head in (Quinn and et.al., 2019). The career counselling has helped me in deciding my new pathway. I will use this service at the time of applying for my first job after completing my college. This is also helpful for me in my future employment because career counselling services helps in deciding when and how I can switch to new company or also start my new business which is basically my ultimate goal. Health support: Wellbeing and Health support is also one of the most significant support service provided by the University to its services. Being a student of Leeds Trinity University, I have always viewed that my college always support the students with disabilities in which my college provide advice and additional support to students. Not only that, my college also get me registered with the doctor and dentists for student’s regular check-up. Along with this, my college also arranges vaccination setup in order to provide vaccination does to each student. This are some of heath support service provided by Leeds Trinity University to their students (Shikulo 3
and Lekhetho, 2020). This service has helped me in managing and controlling my health issue without any gap. Not only that, I will use this service for my employees at the time when I start my own business. It means I will provide healthcare service to my employees on a regular basis so that their health does not get affected too much. Basically, this service will help me in both my university as well as future employment. With the help of this service, I am able to protect the right of disabled people and support them towards their personal and professional development. Networking Training and events: This is another student support service provided by my university to its student. In such events, the college motivates its students to effectively communicate with each people in order to build a professional network. This service has helped me in enhancing my interaction as well as communication skills to the large extent. I have basically joined this event in my last year of college and this has helped me a lot in liking with theprofessionals.Notonlythat,thisservicehasalsohelpedmehowIcanapproach professionals both on online as well as offline platform. I will use this service in my employment as well as when I start my own business. With the help of this service, I can approach customers to buy the product of company in which I will start my job. Also, I will use this service to approach investors to invest in my business. The strong networking skills is most significant part of marketing as well as business (Picton and Kahu, 2021). This service will help me in creating strong customer portfolio in my employment and future business the impact of which I can achieve my targets and goals without any difficulty. Language Centres: From my point of view, this is one of the best student support service provided by Leeds Trinity University to its students. In this service, my university has provided various language learning so that international students learn local language and local students learn international language (Bellon-Harn and et.al., 2018). I have joined this service in my university in order to learn international language because I already know local language. This service has helped me a lot in understanding and speaking international language such as Spanish, French, Russian etc. I will use this service at my university to interact with the internationalstudents.WiththehelpofthisserviceIcaneasilycommunicatewiththe international students who knows their local language only. 4

At the time when I will start my own business, I will use this service provided by my college to attend international business meetingsand attract the customers towards my business. This service basically helps me in identifying and understanding the taste and preferences of the international customers so that I can provide them products and service as per their own demand. Having knowledge of different language on my CV will improve my employability as well as chance of finding work in best company after completing my graduation. CONCLUSION The above reflection has concluded the list of four student support services provided by Leeds Trinity University to its student such as language centre, networking training and events, health support and career counselling. Further, the reflection has also cover when I will use this service and how this service helps me in my future employment along with my university. 5
