DEVELOPING, USING AND ORGANISING RESOURCES IN A SPECIALIST AREA
4.1- Reviewing legal requirements & responsibilities related to
development and use of resources
It is essential for everyone to follow and consider the legal requirements and
accountabilities, before and after developing as well as using key resources
such as technology, etc. as it put direct impact on my performance, either in
negative or positive manner. Copyright Act 1957, is the best example of legal
requirement that enable a person to protect or prevent their innovative idea such
as technology development from others who may steal that without taking
approval from innovator. This legal requirement or legislation may enable them
to protect original work from unauthorized persons, who may misuse that and
obtain benefit of that idea for longer term. Data protection Act 2018 in the UK
is used to implement general data protection legislation that guide people for
protecting their data from the others, by placing some strong password, and
conducting other ethical practices.

The responsibility that related to resource development and use is training. It is
necessary for individual to train and obtain the same concept, which may give
them chance to use effective and useful equipment such as advanced
technology. Training is the key technique that enable skills and improve
competencies among individual. By providing right training, a person may
support others to use the useful equipment appropriately to achieve set aim.
Along with above responsibility, another thing that individual considers, while
developing and using resources is usage of strong password and keep important
data hard copy.
4.2- Analysing the implications of
intellectual property rights and
copyrights for development and
use of resources.
Before using and developing
resource the knowledge of
organizational and contractual
obligations in relation to each asset
is essential. This form of
understanding allows a person to
develop and use resource
appropriately.
It is fact that intellectual property right is prerequisite for better
planning, determination and thereby prevention of invention such
as usage and development of resources. Another term that may
specify the implication of IP tools in relation to development and
use of resource is personal intellectual property rights for assets,
that a person have and use in appropriate manner. They may
attempt to select a specific intellectual property tool that enable to
protect or prevent their resource from others. Each form of right
may give individual person power to keep their ideas and resources
safe from those who may use that unethically.
Along with above two, another implications of intellectual property
rights and copyrights for development of resource and using the
same is restriction on copyright. There are different techniques and
solutions accessible in the corporate world that use to restrict
individuals ideas and innovative concepts in appropriate manner,
that in turn provide desire outcomes to individual in varied terms. It
is essential for individuals to consider each implication that help to
obtain unpredictable benefits and enable to develop further aims
that they may also achieve strategically and productively, which is
not possible for anyone to do so.
