INTRODUCTION Tourism is related to traveling away from home in order to have relaxation, recreationand pleasure. Tourism industry provide various services to customers to enjoy their holidays.Tourism includes various activities such as tour operator services, transportation, travel agenciesetc. Tourism assist in providing traveling services to specific destination. This task will provideunderstanding of Leiper’s tourism sector. Furthermore, It will apply Three -Stage turner’sanalysis of pilgrimage. Leiper model consist of three elements: humanelement, geographical element and industrial element. Tourist are the consumers of tourism system which are offered with tourism services.Geographical element consists of tourist generating regions, transit routes and tourist destinationregions. These stages of turner model define structureand progression of rituals. Separation in turner's model is related to separation from everydayactivities, social relation and cultural conditions are included in response of some crisis either inindividual life or in society life. Individual involvement is everyday social life is included in thisstage. Liminality is the second stage under turner's analysis which is related to exit from sociallife and entering into threshold phase where everybody notions of identity, time and space areincluded. This stage involves in motivating the rituals. Liminal phase include structure and anti –structure .
