1.1 Explain the legal and regulatory framework
of travel and tourism sector
International Air Transport Association (IATA)- It is
an association for the international’s airlines which
presenting 265 airlines of total air traffic. Thus, it
supporting various areas of aviation sector that aid them
in formulating industrial policy regard to aviation issues.
Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)- It can be define as
principles that are majorly governed for the purpose of
safety of civil aviation incidents and accidents in
European union member which required to investigate
the incidents and accidents.

1.2 Discuss on surface, sea and air transport law in relation to the
carriage of passengers within the legal and regulatory
framework of United Kingdom
According to government, there are some norms which should
be followed in transportation. These laws differs with the
mode of traveling. Laws of different traveling modes are
described below-
Surface law- The law is under the international Carriage of
passenger through Road Act,1979 that are majorly governed
in the country. It is formulated by the government for the
concern of protecting the carrier’s passengers who are on
board. The remedies that are claimed in that particular surface
legislation that involves damages while passengers travels on
the carrier and physical disorder at the time of travelling on
carriers.
