INTRODUCTION
In changing environment learning is important aspects which is used by individual or
children to develop their education and manage each function (Neves, Leander, González, and
Karoumi, 2019). This report will help to understand role of educator in childcare by stating roles
and responsibilities.
MAIN BODY
As a role of educator in childcare different roles and responsibilities are shown below:
1.1 Explain the roles and responsibilities within own duties.
· Explain what you do within the room.
The role and responsibility of educator includes promoting effective growth and development
of students. These are vested among different responsibilities that are primarily associated
with facilitating the attainment of academic goals and objectives. The time when educators
are recruited then certain tasks are considered for experience, qualification, personality traits.
· How you work as a team
Educators have to work in team and for that they need strong collaboration. There is also
requirement of managing teaching and learning for attaining goals and objectives in time.
There is importance of teamwork within educator for working effectively and managing the
completion of school support activities.
· Talk about your day to day running of the room
As an educator, it is my responsibility to work effectively and conduct a proper student
working activities. It is necessary that educators are keeping proper timing for sessions they
have to take and provide proper presentation to students.

Standards and codes of practice is important for each child and people as it can help to
maintain the all activities and build their confidence level to accomplish goals.

effective regulations that are used by educator and companies to run their function or activities
effectively. This mainly used to provide good health and safety at the workplace and maintaining
higher productivity. Whistle Blowing act will be used to take action against corruption and
wrong behaviour. On the other side, health and safety act uses to maintaining good health and
safety of people who belongs to organization and working effectively. Safeguarding act will help
children not to involve in any unsuitable work that can directly affect their health and
productivity in changing environment (Nizzolino, 2021).
5531 2.1 Explain the importance of reflective practice in continuously improving: skills, practice
and subject knowledge.
· Why is it important to reflect?
It is essential to make students understand the importance of reflective practise. This suggests
that there is need for improving own skills and traits for managing the work. It is also considered
that reflection is very useful for interpreting own strength as well as weaknesses and complete
the work.
· How does this help you with as a practitioner.
A practitioner when focus upon reflection then he or she will be able to know more about the
situation. This will provide full focus upon the situation which the patient is dealing with. It
signifies that there is need to manage the whole situation on the basis of own analysis.

· What is the process of reflection?
The process of reflection starts with analysing own skills, capabilities and understanding
the whole situation. Second step is to evaluate the scenario of evaluating skills and developing a
proper mapping of whole project. Third step is to conclude and recommend to own self the basis
of situation.
5.3 Explain the processes used by own organisation to comply with data protection.
The process of Data protection act is used by educator and organization to keep safe and
confidential of each people data. This could help to manage the all changes and challenges
clearly (Clark, Kabiru, Laszlo, S. and Muthuri, 2019). The educator will collect personal
information about their students and management will get employees information that would
help to build their confidence level and encourage them to perform well. The process will be
used by organization such as:
To involve child in learning activities and employees at the workplace.
To collect various information from them and store in system.
Don’t share data with anyone that can help to create the confidentiality.
2.4 Evaluate the effectiveness of own practice within own setting.
As an Educator I need to make sure that I am able to appropriately take the essential steps
which will help me in improving the own practice. I need to make sure that I make the use of the
appropriate methods and techniques which will help me a lot in ensuring that I can attain the
necessary goals and objectives in a better manner. I will make sure that I teach the students
according to the changing needs and requirements which will help me a lot in enhancing their
overall satisfaction level and will also create their interest in studies (Ruppanner, Moller, and
Sayer, 2019).
However, there is also a scope of bringing out the necessary improvements in myself.
This can be done by ensuring that I can identify the scope of taking the actions for the purpose of
improving myself so that I can attain the goals and objectives of the people in the market in a
right and appropriate way. I need to take the feedback from the students which will help me to be
able to ensure that I can identify where my weaknesses lie so that I can remove them and
progress in my field in a right way.

The feedback is quite important because this gives a chance to the students to be able to
tell about the way in which a teacher can bring the desired and necessary improvements which
will therefore be quite important and crucial for ensuring that the attainment of the necessary
goals and objectives in a proper way. Thus, I can state that this will be quite important in
ensuring that the students are able to enhance their overall level of learning and development in a
right manner. This will be highly crucial as well as important so that the students can attain high
marks in their studies (Muhammadiyeva, 2021).
3.1 Explain the importance of continued professional development.
Continuous professional development is process of tracking and documenting the
knowledge, skills, and behaviours of an individual that gain while working and managing the
activities. This is important for individual to analysis their strength and weakness then make
efforts to overcome them by formulating CPD plan. The children and employees uses this
process to know their skills as well as characteristics that shows how well a function would be
manage effectively (Famakin, Aigbavboa, and Molusiwa, 2020).
This plan helped me to learning new skills such as I was weak in communication and
leadership skills while performing role of educator that improved by myself by sharing
information, taking regular classes, and understanding or solving problems of each one. This
plan helped me to feel good and comfortable.
3.4 Evaluate the available options for continued professional development.
I have attained a lot of training sessions as an Educator which have allowed me to be bale
to make sure that I am able to find out the scope where I can make the necessary improvements
in a right way. I have to make sure that I am able to take a right approach for the purpose of
ensuring that I can identify my own weaknesses in these training sessions and work on them so
that they can be removed and so that I am able to teach the students in a right way (Mamin, Dey,
and Das, 2019).
Thus, I need to attend training sessions in the future also which will help me in enhancing
my skills and abilities as an Educator and will also help me to be able to attain the goals and
objectives in quite a proper and appropriate manner. Thus, I can state that the role of an Educator
is highly important and crucial for the particular purpose of ensuring that the students can be
taught well which will lead towards bringing out an enhancement in their overall skills and

abilities and will help them in making progress ahead in the future. Thus, as an Educator it is

From the report it can be concluded that as an educator, role is to understand the child
needs and educate them properly which can help to manage and perform all functions clearly.
There is different regulation such as Health & care, safeguarding, whistle blowing and data
protection that are used by management and educator to provide safety from harm and unsuitable
work.
