INTRODUCTION
Academic session is one of the most important thing for every learner which allow them to
develop employability skills and help them to be become stable in career process. Employability
skills play vital role which include communication skills, active listing skills, team working and
problem solving skills (Nisha and Rajasekaran, 2018). These basic skills allow leaner to becomes
suitable for the process of employment. This report will discuss description and feelings which
learner have experienced in module which they have attended. later this report will provide clear
understanding of key skills learned in the weeks. At last this report will discuss skills developed
through this module.
MAIN BODY
Week 1: Accessing information and studying at university:
During this module, I have learned about information system and accessing this
information with IT system of the university. I have developed ability to use IT system which
include; using hardware, Wi-Fi, email and other software, I have sharpened by skills and ability
to become expert in IT area. Later in next session, I have developed effective study habit at the
university which allow me to build time management skills, during university session, I have
explored different area of development. During week 1: I have acquired certain skills which
allowed me to be better in academic and in employability process, during first session, I have
developed IT skills which help me to use IT systems of the university (Chang, 2019). Later in
next session, I have acquired time management skills that help me to manage my time and
studies. both session in week 1 helped me to craft certain new skills and helped me to sharpen
my internal skills as well.
During week 1, I have encounter certain difficulties which impacted my learning process,
in session where was no mentor who guide me to use IT system, I alone manage to develop IT
skills which was not very effective for me because I could have done better if there was
mentorship. In next session, I faced difficulties while studying in the university, because of poor
time management, I have missed some important points which I think was necessary for me to
learn. I have faced certain difficulties in week 1 where I was unable to learn IT skills effective
because there was no mentor, but I somehow manage to overcome this difficulty. I took help
from my friends who are expert in IT and have ability to mentor me throughout the process. In

next session, I have solved time management issue with the help of proper time management
process which include scheduling and delivering of task on time.
Week 2: Seminar and discussion
During week 2 I have attended two sessions, in first session I have understood the concept
of seminar and discussion and able to analyse role of seminar in academic session. I have
identified role of leaders and participant who attend seminar. In next session, I have developed
clear understanding on topic which is been discussed in seminar, business success and key terms
are been discussed which helped me to gain business management knowledge. In this week, I
have acquired certain important employability skills which helped me to become stable in career
development process (Singer, 2016). In this session, I have developed active listening skills and
presentation skills which helped me to learn about role of leader and participant of the seminar.
In next session; I have developed business management skills and leadership skills which allow
me to become business leader and help me to improve business management skills.
In this week, I have developed certain skills but faced many difficulties, at first I was
unable to understand what is seminar and discussion. There was no mentor available for me to
guide, I become unaware about seminar and roles of leader. In next session, I have faced
difficulties understanding how business is managed. although I have developed business
management skills effective and have not faced any major difficulties while in this session. In
this week, I have faced many difficulties which impacted my learning process, I have faced
major difficulties in first session but later with the help of my tutor I somehow manage to
understand roles and responsibility of seminar leader (Wain, 2017). In next session, I have
encounter with certain difficulties which was not major so I used my IT skills to search about
business management and solution for issue I have faced.
Week 3: Presentation skills and reading and research at university:
During this week, I have learned about presentation skills and its importance in the
employability process, this session helped to explore different area of employability and help me
to learn about effective presentation. In next session, I have learned about reading and
researching at university and explored both, personal habit for reading and habit for university. I
learn how to boost reading speed with the help of practical task, I have practice reading on

mistakes and problems and remaining question about the assignment submission. In having
things I have analysed about various concepts through which this could be easy for learning
many new things and ensure for implementing in business activities (Gwynne-Evans, Chetty and
Junaid, 2021). While having such kind of skills this will ensure for developing and also bring out
the better strategies for learning and working with better skills and knowledge. In having skills
and knowledge I will able to take opportunities for formative assessment and creating some goals

thinking and role for having effective academic argument through having some tasks. I have also
analysed some effective skills which keep me for working with tasks and help for solving with
developing skills. While for developing an academic an awareness and also understanding about
the stages involving in producing as assignment through having worked subject in using some
examples. While skills is being required for developing writing and academic argument such as
time management through which work can be completed on time or before deadlines so that for
writing quality can be improved. Research skills and using correct grammar, spelling, knowing
about audiences and so on (Heron, Gravett and Yakovchuk, 2021). I have issues in academic
argument about difficulties in grasping course, difficulties in planning and organizing assignment
of study tasks, test anxiety that leads for poor performance on exams. In having such issues, I
have thought about more research for topic, try to work more on articles and reading books etc.

taking some action through which this could be easy for growth and bringing out some effective
decision at any time. Along with this also ensure for developing and bringing out the positive

Fitzpatrick and Byrne, 2021). While having such things this will also help me for developing
marketing skills and ensure for taking some strategies. I have also analysed about various
concepts such as fair compensation, motivation and so on.
This also goes under the daily duties for working in organization. I have issues about the
marketing study in which I was unable to understand the customer taste and preferences. So that
have been created the difficulty for developing knowledge about market concepts. This seems to
be important for learning about some effective marketing concepts and also help for learning
team building concepts. I have overcome with kind of difficulties through using survey and
taking help from market expert. Through which I have easily analysed about various concept and

prepare some strategies while in working with following the time management and make sure for
