HUMAN GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT
Growth in the context of human refers to the increase in the size of
individual.
Development refers to the procedure by which an individual develops his or
her skills related to psychomotor.
There are 4 stages within the period of human growth. That is from the birth
to adolescence.
1. Infancy
2. Childhood
3. Juvenile
4. adolescence

THEORIES RELATED TO HUMAN GROWTH
AND DEVELOPMENT
The developmental psychology is that branch that studies with how
individuals grow and alter over the entire course of the lifetime.
The scientific growth of the development and growth of human is not
only important to psychology but also for sociology, education,
biology, anthropology, healthcare and education (Green, 2016).
The three major theories of human growth and development are:
1. Erik Erikson's theory of psychosocial development
2. Kohlberg's theory of moral development
3. Erickson’s stages of development
