Students are required to submit a ~250 word reading summary each week, in advance of each class. A random selection of four reading summaries will be evaluated, based on the following criteria:
1. Did the student differentiate and concisely summarize the main point and/or key themes of the reading(s)? Ask, “What was the reading about?”
2. Did the student demonstrate critical thinking about the reading? Ask, “What does it mean and what do I think about it?”
