INTRODUCTION
Sadness is known as natural part of human experience. There are different individuals who
are feeling sad or depressed when they got hurt by any loved one. There are several challenges
which a person has to face in life. There are few negative consequences which creates sadness in
a person’s life. These feelings are generally short lived and when a person experiences intense
feeling of sadness then it creates mood disorder which is known as major depressive disorder.

Depressive Disorder);
According to the views of Barbuti and et.al (2017), MDD is a clinical depression situation in
which significant medical conditions are affecting in different areas of life. If a person is
impacted by modern behaviour, then it also affects physical functions like sleep and appetite.
This is a common mental health condition in different countries. There are few symptoms of this
depressive disorder. It includes change in the previous functioning of body. There is sudden loss
or gain of weight, changing appetite, feeling of restlessness, lack of energy, guilty, worthless
feeling, thinking and making ineffective decisions and many more. The depressive disorder is
treated by providing medication and psychotherapy. There are various lifestyle adjustments
which are helpful in easing certain symptoms of this. Individuals who are having severe MDD or
people who are having thoughts of harming themselves require to stay within hospital premises
during their treatment procedure. There is need for every person to take participation in
outpatient treatment programme. The primary care providers start the treatment of this condition
by prescribing antidepressant medicines. There is selective serotonin re update inhibitors who are
frequently prescribed for such kind of condition. They are provided help by inhibiting the
breakdown of serotonin within brain. This results within higher amount of neurotransmitter. The
chemical provided in this medication helps brain to believe that it is responsible for mood. It
provides helping improving mode and producing healthy sleeping pattern. Individuals who are
suffering from this disorder have low levels of serotonin. When this medication is provided then
they are able to increase the amount of available serotonin within brain. These are the type of
antidepressants which are prescribed to the person in order to make him or her effective. These
type of drugs can cause severe side effects which includes sleep leanness and weight gain. These
