Impact of quality in organizational culture of McDonalds in Sydney.
Problem:
Organizational culture in a developing company like McDonalds play vital role in mitigating
all the management resources is vital problem and impacts on the development of diverse
cultural background in Australia. In the 21st century, most of the successful companies are
focused on to promote diverse organizational culture as to maintain a healthier perspective in
the working environment of a company. Therefore, the main problem that need to be
discussed here is cross-cultural management in an organization like McDonalds in Sydney.
When a Western based organization focuses on the expansion of their business in Australia,
they mainly face the issues related to cultural based differences in workplaces (Jiang, Gollan
& Brooks, 2017). On the other hand, diversification of a workplace have many effects related
to growth of market share in an expansion program. The main barriers McDonalds faced
while expanding their organization in Sydney are related to the communication and structural
changes they were unaware of. Different countries possess various cultural differences, as
well as many behavioural changes due to their traditional aspects and differences in
motivation, decision making, leadership as well as cluster dynamics (Gelfand et al., 2017).
Most importantly, the main challenge faced by McDonalds in their organizational
culture in Australia is the cross-cultural related to multicultural management in behavioural
approaches. The cultural management in order to expansion of business is an integral part of
international business progress. Therefore, in modern scenario, organizations need to adapt
and develop strategies in course of time to handle the cultural differences among employees
in order to fulfil the particular deficits in the respective fields.

1. How the diversity in the organizational culture can be managed in McDonalds?
2. What are important issues and problems needed solving in order to maintain diversity
in the workplace of the organization?
3. Which ways can be beneficiary for enhancing the organizational culture in working
environment?
Literature Review
Organizational culture is the backbone of an international organization like McDonalds
which represents industrial benefits in various countries and have employees more than 100
countries in the world. As the biggest Food and Beverages Company in the world, the
company always focuses on expanding their business all around the globe. Therefore, the
organization faces many problems regarding cultural differences in several country.
Australia, having one of the most diverse cultural differences country will also make some
challenges to the western based organization culture of McDonalds (Nguyen & Watanabe,
2017).
Unlike most organizations, McDonalds focus on the values of the employers like all
other members of the organization. The rules and regulations are mainly focused on to make
and evolve the organizational culture much better from time to time. In order to define the
cultural aspects, the values as well practices of the respective culture plays a vital role in
making organizational culture progresses. The core values of McDonalds are focused on to
making quality, quantity, service, convenience as well as values related to tradition and
culture. Though, there are many aspects of organizational culture development processes
