increase among various social media websites. It made vast and most dangerous and potentially

tend to rise in which number of children are high and more in nature of frame. In this section,

impacted through cyber bullying. This requires to control only by parents where they have to
evaluate change in behaviour arise child consideration and try to improve them better.
Another negative influence could be related with lack of development where
interpersonal skills get impacted. Such children spend their time on phones, tablets, computer
only not on outside games (Oberst and et. al., 2016). This restrict their overall growth and
development which need to assess and understand properly by parents. Thus, they have to force
children to go outside the home and play games properly. This result them in control such kind

There are various benefits of being in touch of social media on a continuous basis, kids
will be aware of various types of knowledge that are prevailing within the country and all over
the globe, they will be able to learn views of other people and community by sitting at their
home and would not have to go anywhere. This has made it easy for people to reach to nooks and
corners of the world by using social media platforms. Through these social media platforms they
can get in touch with their peers to whom they come across in their real life either in schools,
colleges, churches etc. This has lead to a continuous boom in the overall growth of social media.
Social media has allowed individuals to communicate and interact with each other, no matter at
which part of the world they might be residing. This has lead to a growth as well as development
of social media business in the recent time (Cornelissen and Cornelissen, 2017).
Negative Effects
As there are some positives, there are some negatives of social media as, despite the fact
that there are numerous positive parts of online networking, the negative impacts on kids and
young people are likewise various. Online networking can influence the emotional well-being of
youngsters. The level of impact is much more as compared to the positives of the same as
indicated by look into, appears to go up as teenagers' utilization goes up. Their level of happiness
can diminish, and their probability of getting into inconvenience or being discouraged can

individuals. They are more interested in buying those goods as well as services that are

cheating, thus it is essential to be cautious while dealing with these sites which are not
only offering products and services through their sites but also manipulating mindsets of
these kids (Kezar, 2014).
 Privacy issues: There is a issue of privacy as well when it comes to using social media.
Various instances have occurred when it has became easier for hackers as well as for the
management of these social media websites to access the data and personal information
of users on a consistent basis and then using it again for the purpose of getting
commercial benefits. This has made certain class of children as reluctant to go to social
media and use them on a consistent basis for a longer period of time. Thus, it is quite
essential that these privacy issues are overcome by the authorities to make it more safe.
