Executive Summary
The current presentation is based on the topic of key challenges and obstacles that are faced
by the leaders and managers of the service sector mainly in terms of the talent management.
It ahs been analysed that in present scenarios of dynamic business environment mitigating
the motivation level of employees is difficult which hampers proper utilisation of their
talents and skills. Thus, current report is lead out to analysis about the main challenges and
obstacles faced by the managers and leaders within Tesco along with analysis key theories
and management styles to mitigate and overcome these challenge.

INTRODUCTION
Leadership basically comprises of the art of motivating as well as influencing a group of
individual to achieve set targets while management reflects a process of setting coordination
and directing individuals towards accomplishment of organisational goal. This, report is
based on developing effective understanding about the role of management and leadership is
achieving organisational goal and ensuring effective magnet of talent and workforce. Current
presentation is based on Tesco which is well known retailer of UK having its branches across
the world.

Management theories basically provides guiding principles that effectively
directs managers to carry out there role and responsibility in improved

Tesco to ensure improved management of human resources and talents at its
