supply chain is very difficult in the healthcare sector. It also increases the complexity that is
caused by globalisation purpose. Cambridge University Hospital is an NHS hospital and they are
reliant on their ability for managing as well as logistics operations (Wamba and Queiroz 2020). It
has a huge amount of its sales and availability of the patients. In this particular essay, how the
Cambridge University Hospital resolves the issues with the help of Logistics and Supply Chain
Management. It may improve patient satisfaction rates.
Cambridge University Hospital is one of the largest hospitals and most of the NHS trusts

why healthcare sectors are facing some serious challenges for providing quality services to their
patients. The evaluation of quality health care is performed with the help of Bandura’s social
learning and social cognitive theories. But, every consumer has different experiences regarding
the quality of services (Rivera and Zapata 2020). For the organisations like Cambridge
University Hospital in the United Kingdom, they need to provide proper assurance regarding the
services they are providing. They also need to ensure that, the services are provided by the
organisation are meeting the quality as per the expectation of the consumer.

some fixed targets to their staff, so that the hospital authority provides the services very
efficiently.
Expenditure can be a big issue in the case of quality management of the hospital.
Cambridge University Hospital should keep the expenditure low so that they can provide

management of health care services. In this case, a huge amount of research work needs to be
done in an efficient manner. Managing people has some unique advantages in healthcare
services. At the same time, it can be concluded that existing concepts, models of logistics as well
as supply chain practices can be enhanced the quality of the Cambridge University Hospital.
There are many problems that can be explored in the near future by the management of the
hospital authority. The role of the information technology helps the hospital to enhance the
services to potential patients. More research is required regarding the implementation of online
services by the hospital management. It is quite clear that they may enjoy some advantages with
