Higher education is the sector where several universities or schools focus on providing
quality education. For providing exceptional education it is very important for institutes to recruit
qualified and skilful workforce who could dedicate themselves in providing best knowledge to
students (Taberner, 2018). The institute which is being taken for the completion of this report is
London School of Science and Technology which is based in London and was established in the
year 2003. The following report focus on detail overview of selected institute along with issues it
has been facing. The report also explains competitors environment through implementing
Porter's Five Forces and target market has been examined by executing STP model. Furthermore,
the external environment of the selected institute is also analysed by applying PEST framework.
Lastly, from these evaluations, problems has been identified that the school is facing.

London School of Science and Technology is a private educational institute which was
founded in year 2003 (London School of Science and Technology, 2021). The university offers
various courses related to business management, IT, health and social care. The school has
various campus around number of prime locations which includes Luton, London and
Birmingham. The head office of LSST is in London/Wembley. Each campus of the school is
managed by Dean along with their own administrative and academic staff in order to deliver high
standard of education to students. The values of institute includes transparency, integrity,
accountability, excellence and professionalism. LSST has designed its new approach of learning
where people who want to benefit from high quality courses are welcomed (London School of
Science and Technology, 2021). The institute provide quality teaching and learning environment
that results into professional and academic qualifications.

The vision of LSST is to provide educational platform for all individuals belong from
diverse background, capabilities and aspirations in order to meet their potential through
progression, achievement and learning (London School of Science and Technology, 2021).

same sector. The company is experiencing main issues which includes how to recruit
professional and qualified people who could deliver specialist courses. Another issue is how to
attract skilful people into Higher Education with correct skills and knowledge along with how
top provide positive working environment that its competitors does not provide or offer in order
to accomplish competitive advantage in the market.

Bargaining Power of Suppliers: This component of the framework explains that how
activities of suppliers could impact on business functions of institutes. In context to London
