INTRODUCTION
Loss is the term which normally have a deep impact on life of an individual. These can be
of various types . Topic of this assignment is “Loss of memory by accident” it is a major
situation in life of an individual person and their family member. Below mentioned report is
based on loss of memory by accident which is an major issues faced by the person. There are
many people who are going through such problems current data of this is given (Adlard And
et.al., 2010). It also enlighten with the model of grief and loss as well many issues which is faced
by the person who is suffering from memory loss by accident.
MAIN BODY
Identification of the loss to be discussed and the rationale
Loss discussed in this report is “ Loss of memory by accident”. This is a big harm which
is faced by an individual person, their family member and relatives also. If a person loose their
memory then this will be a major problem that will be faced by their family members because
the person is not able to recall their past as well he/she don't remember people who are related to
them (Cooper And et.al., 2011). Accidents are increasing now a days; as per the data of 2015 of
United Kingdom; 22,144 peoples get seriously injured in road accident. Due to that some of
them loose their memory and ratio of men is high compare to women's in relation to memory
loss.
There are several major issues which are faced by an individual because of memory loss
are mention below :-
Person who is suffering from memory loss because of accident are not able to identify
their family members, relatives, friends and several other person who belong to him/her.
If a specific person loose their memory in that situation they start feeling anxious, sad,
hopeless or numb. Along with this, when they start recalling the old things they feel
irritable and restless.
As an healthcare practitioner, it is important to know about this issues so that after
accident such measure will be taken by the doctors that suffering individual will not loose his/her
memory (Blackburn And et.al., 2014). If proper research is done on this then health care
institution will get data of memory loss people due to accident and can implement such tools,
techniques and medicines which can help in coming out of the situation.

can be said that it is an natural response of person towards the loss faced by them. This is an
emotional feeling founded in every person which comes out at the time of loss or the when the
loved thing taken away (Chen and et.al.,2016). The harm is categorised as abstract or physical in
which ruin of physical is related to the thing which can be touch, feel and measures for example
death of family member. Whereas, abstract are related to the aspects of a individual social
interaction.
Major loss facing by the person is loss of memory by accident in this situation family
member, friends, relative and neighbour of the individual who is suffering must have to behave
in proper manner. So that, he/she will not get depressed or irritated by the situation as well the
person who are living with him/her or meeting them on regular basis must have to behave
properly. Apart from this, should have to make several efforts so that sufferer can come out of
the situation easily and started feeling energetic and happy. Although, people should not have to
recall the accident situation again and gain in-front of the sufferer and have to do such activities
which can make him/her happy as well for enjoying the things.
Model of Grief – It is the term which vary from person to person and there are till now
global trends that how people cope up with the loss. In respect of this researcher and
psychologists framed several model of grief. Famous and popular model of grief which can be
implemented to the loss of memory by accident situation are four task of mourning and dual
process of model (Feinstein, Duff and Tranel,2010). Description of these are as follows :-

at that time person standing in-front of him/her are known due to memory lost issue.
Yearning – An individual desire to come out with the problem because in memory harm
person not able to recognise anything that can be their family members, relative, friends
and memories related to past.
Experiencing sadness, denial and anger At the time of such
accidental situation the person who is suffering will gent sad, anger and denial because

Every individual have some person in their life to come out from the situation they are

success. Thus, entire report is focussing on complication which is encountered by a person who
is suffering from memory loss. Therefore, it has been identified that number of people are going
through this problem due to maximization in accidents. As, number of incidents are increasing
day by day due to various reasons such as; rash driving, violation of necessary rules and
regulations, norms henceforth. Apart from this, project aids in enhancing the knowledge about
memory loss by assessing its various outcomes, members whomsoever are getting affected and
other things which are related with this problem. It means, overall assignment is paying full
attention on complication which incurred due to memory loss of a person. As the final results it
has been identified that individual are require to manage their daily routine activities effectively
that assist to manage their enhance their memory level. All these approaches are related to health
care terms that determine that each and every individual should have to level a healthy live that
assist to enhance their performance in future.
Recommendation-
Throughout the assessment it has been understood that loss of memory through accident
is most dangerous issue that is affecting an individual life in various aspects. Thus, it is essential
to follow some suggestion for controlling these kind of issues are discussed as follows:-
An individual needs to attentive while driving for controlling probabilities of accidents
and through this grief can also be managed.
Always do precaution because its better than cure.
Governing bodies needs to implement some basic rules and regulations for advising
youngsters and managing grief.
