INTRODUCTION
Consultancy life cycle is a systematic process which consists all those stages which are
taken into focus for the purpose of extending consultancy services to the client (Tang, 2019.) The
report will be discussing the plan in context to LSST college UK which is one of the leading
college of the country and offering science, technology, management and business related
courses. Considering self consultancy firm for the college an intensive research will be carried
out. The research will be aiming to identify the perils of the institution and substantiate with
various source of data. A Set of suggestions to wipe out the problems will also be given to the
organization and ensure anticipated progress. At the end of the report key areas with priority will
also be intimated to the college so can manage it properly.
1. CONSULTING LIFE CYCLE
It is the process carried out by consultants while helping a client during any interventions.
This consists of making initial contact with our client and starting to build a relationship of
mutual trust and respect. It is just a humble inquiry and guidance in which the consultant works
alongside the client to create solutions. The purpose of consultant is not to provide a ready-made
solution to its customer but to advance his growth and learning through his process of research
(Niemann and Pisla, 2021.)
CONSULTANCY CYCLE TABLE-
PHASE STEPS
Pre-sales Pondering over leadership and about the service or product.
Sales In this phase the relevant information will be requested from the client for
making sales plan.
Research Here the research will be carried out for the purpose. Data collection,
tabulation, analysis and then reaching to final conclusion will also be done.
Delivery The required project is planed and delivered.
Exit In this phase the steps are taken back following up the learnings and areas of
improvement.

2. PRE-SALES AND SALES
This is the stage in which the client and the consultancy firm get interacted very first
time. This phase helps in understanding the problem of the issue of the client which the client
needs help with (Squires and Markou, 2021.) The role of a consultancy firm is to make the way
easier for the client by extending precious plan or project in order to help the client in making the
goal come true.
As it is already mentioned the role of the consultancy firm is just to pave the way but that does
not mean it will provide a fully fledged plan to the client. It is entitled to just perform set of
activities in which specialization and experience is needed for purpose of introducing solution.
PROBLEM STATEMENT-
Over the time LSST, one of the most famous private college of UK. Which was
established in 2003 (Passaro, 2020.) and was offering the courses of science and technological
streams. But with its market diversification policy it has further introduced new courses as well.
Like currently the offered courses consist business and management as well. It is somehow
attracting people from different background like- age, nationality, field, financial strength,
language, races etc. The client wants solution or such programme which can sort out the
problems associated with this mixed population.
3. RESEARCH
It is the process carried out by the consultancy firm to know the actual picture. In this
process a set of activities are performed for instance research questions, research methods, data
collection, data analysis and at the end presentation of final outcomes of the research. This is a
hectic process since every and each stage needs too much attentiveness a minute mistake may
mislead the consequences or final conclusion.
PROBLEMS-
People are coming from different backgrounds an age range of the students in from under
20 to over 70 years old (Bechtol, 2019.) A relatively large proportion of the students have a
partial barrier to their education, financial, family or domestic in nature. Which is why
organization if facing problem in ensuring higher attendance and over the time students had left
