What is the problems or issues that the client needs to address:
The LSST college is facing the problems in the HR department mostly in the recruitment and the
procurement process. They are not able to select the appropriate candidate which leads to
selecting the candidates which are not much talented and skilled employees in the client's
college. They want to address these issues for improving the procurement and recruitment
process.
Why the client is focusing on this problem:
The LSST college is focusing much on these issues as they have to improve the process of the
recruitment so that they would be able hire the best candidates. The candidates which are
talented and skilled will be able to work more effectively, so they are paying much attention for
solving these HR department issues.
Further, background information about the company/competitors/customers:
LSST college is the college of the science and technology and provides the courses of the
business, computing as well as the management courses. This college provides the high quality
of the courses which develops the individual professionally.
Key deliverables/What would be a ‘successful’ outcome for the client, by the end of the
project:
When the HR department issues will be successfully solved as this will create the positive
outcome for the client. This will provide them many benefits to the LSST college will be
able to attract the large number of the talented and the skilled labours, reduce the turnover
and there will be high morale.
Concerns/limitations raised by the client:
The LSST college has the limitations of the time and the budget. They have very less

budget which becomes difficult to manage the activities for solving the issues of the HR
department.
Concerns raised by the consulting team:
The LSST college has hired the consulting team for addressing the issues of the HR
department. This consulting team has raised the issue of less time and the budget
provided by the client.
What actions were agreed:
The actions agreed in the meeting with the client is the consulting team has committed to
solve the issues of the HR department.
