INTRODUCTION
The process of setting a business is called entrepreneurship and the individual who is
involved in setting the business is called entrepreneur. The entrepreneur has to bear the risk
associated with the business along with enjoying the rewards of the business. The entrepreneur
has mainly the characteristic personality of being the innovator; provide the ideas, services and
ideas for the business and the processes involved in the business. Microsoft is a technology
company in Washington. The company manufactures, supports, develops, licenses, and sells the
computer software, personal computers, consumer electronics and many more.
The report consists of the personality traits of the entrepreneur and provide with the discussion
on the opportunity created by the entrepreneur. The innovative products and the services of the
company are discussed that are introduced in the market. The process of building the
entrepreneur team is discussed. The main role of the entrepreneur as a leader are discussed for
the making the company successful. The process of growing the business is discussed. The
contribution of the company in the economy as well as the society is discussed. The ways to
survive the pandemic is discussed.

The personality traits of the entrepreneur
The personality traits of the entrepreneur Bill Gates to make him success are:
Philanthropist – he is very much involved in the promotion for the welfare of others and has
donated money from the business for good causes in the society. He has contributed in the
improvement of the education system. He had spent money in the scholarship programs,
vaccines and immunization, teachers, schools and for the eradication of polio.
Competitive – he is highly competitive and this was seen when the bond between him and Steve
jobs got weak at time the company Apple of Steve Jobs get the success.
Voracious reader – Bill Gates like to read and he thought it as a source for getting learning new
things as well as testing the understanding of him. The new area of Domain of knowledge is
explored by reading to him. The understanding of the world is increased by him using the hard
books rather than the e-books. He reads one book in a week and fifty books in a year

(Kozubíková and et.al, 2017). And the philanthropic money of Bill gates is contributed in the
Gates Library which is around $200 million.
Prioritizing capability – Bill gates was able to get successful due to the habit of prioritising
along with time management. He is committed to manage his time to ensure that all the
important commitment is fulfilled on time. For example, if does not feel the need of him being in
a meeting he say no to attend it.
Spends a lot – bill gates spend a lot of money and this can be seen in the building of his home,
the home is worth $125 million. His spends on anything that he likes.
Believe in his Idea – his idea of making the graphic interface the future in OS was not believed
in the starting but he did not let himself believe any less in his Idea. The idea came out as MAC
that was the first commercially successful computer with GUI and people start to believe in him
and said it is a revolutionary idea. Strong belief on his own idea made him work for his idea even
when no one believed (Vizcaíno, Cardenas and Cardenas, 2021).
The entrepreneur recognising and creating the opportunity
Bill Gates is the richest entrepreneur and all this started from the teenage interest in the
computers programming and further founding Microsoft and building it to the global dominance
position for producing the personal computers in the market. He is a self-made, visionary and
intelligent individual who set the business and put the device in everyone’s must have list.
Bill gates have a passion and love for the computer at very young age, he love to create and find
joy in it. He had a passion for computers and programming, he was able to drop maths by
convincing his teacher for pursing in programming. And at a very young age he converted an
Intel processor into a counter. After that he moved across country to develop Interpreter of the
BASIC programming language for Altai computers and this resulted into the creation of
Microsoft (Hanohov and Baldacchino, 2018). Microsoft was made due to the love of doing
something in the technology for the market and not for beating the competitors.
After the creation of Microsoft it alone starts to create opportunity and develop a $50
billion company that is multinational dominant force in today’s computing era with 80000
employees. In 1981, a big opportunity comes to Microsoft, IBM come to Microsoft for
producing the operating systems for personal computers. For meeting the needs of the IBM,
Microsoft buys the right of the existing system and makes it into a PS-DOS. The development of
the IBM PC poured money to the Microsoft and the company stepped in the research and
