INTRODUCTIONProject Report can be defined as the document which is used in order to get a detailedoverview of the business proposed. The following document contains the data on the basis ofwhich the project will be appraised or not will be decided. It also helps the entrepreneur to knowabout the inputs and helps to obtain loans from banks and other financial institutions. Thefollowing assignment is also based on problems faced by an organisation in relation to thequality of their products and services. Root Cause Identification can be defined as the methodwhich is used in order to solve the main causes of problem occurring the processes of thecompany. The following methodology is also divided which are also been discussed in thisassignment later. The study of this problem was carried out in a Cable Manufacturing Industryand the plant was manufacturing different components starting from Simple Powder ApplicationMachine to Core Laying Machine. In addition to this, the assignment will also provide the waysand methodologies used to overcome these problems by the company. Further, results anddiscussion will be made on the outcomes received from the application of root causemethodologies. At last, conclusion the assignment will be made. The main problem faced by thecompanies was related to the maintenance of the quality of the products of the company. Thereasons of this problem will be discussed further in this assignment. MAIN BODYMethodologyIn manufacturing industry, the companies are facing issues with the quality of theirproducts and services in the market. This has adversely impacted upon the working, market shareand income of the companies (Villasenor, West and Lewis, 2016). It is a serious concern of issuefor them as reduction in the demand of the products and services will result in decline in theprofits of the company and can also become a result of their failure in the market. So in order toovercome these issues, it become important for the organisations to find out the main reasons andareas of concern due to which the company is facing issues with the quality of the products. Theways to identify and eradicate these issues are also different so the organisations needed to firstlyanalyse the situation and then to choose the best strategy which can be implemented in order toovercome the situation. 1
