INTRODUCTION
Health education defineas a method used to enhancethe level of knowledge of individuals
with the help of promotional events inorder to prevent from disease so that proper health
condition will be maintained. It consistof the criteriawhere health promotional events are
organised in more effective and efficient manner so that awareness about precautions relatedto
health problems. Therefore, it is very essentialto motivateindividualsin order to use healthy habit
which as a result assist in supporting them to maintain effective health within the country.
Usually, health education is quite essential for avoiding hugesothat they can ensure aboutthe
safety. In the present context, the report is based on a healthcare institution named as NHS
which has amplenumber of branches among United Kingdom. Theyserve people with different
care facilities according to their needs with the help of which individuals health will be
improved. The present report emphasis on various factors which highly influence the overall
health status, effective hurdles as well as relation among health beliefs &illness. Inaddition to
this, it will also consista comparison between health education aswell as promotion and
strategies. Furthermore, an effective plan related to the requirements for health education and to
address the local needs are going to be discussed.

Health status meansthe whole situation of a person’s body related to its functional or
operational perspectives so the person remain healthy and comfortable. It consistof the fact
whichneeds to be considered for better health and the main focus is the human happiness
alongwith well-being. Therefore, it can easily be examined that there are range of elements
which mainly responsible in order to influence the health status of a person. It consist of various
factors which needs to be considered by individuals so that they can easily overcome fromthe
diseases.
Essential factorswhichaffect the health status
Gender – The first and foremost influencing factor is gender whichis highly responsible for
various biological aswell as physical modification in a human body. Allthese influence the health
condition of a person. Along with this, it can also said that risk of having disease within male or

female are quite different. Also, it is concluded that suffering from genital tract are mare likely
in females as compared to male.
Culture Anotherfactor is adopting the values and belief of culture highly influence the
condition of individuals. Ithas been identified that each and every person follows their belief and
culture which as a result make them unaware about various health care education and might
create negative affect on their mental as well as physical health condition. For example,
according to some cultural values fat in the body is a symbol of healthy and wealthy family
whereas it increases problem related with high blood pressure, diabetes and various other health
problems. ,
Education The most positive influential element iseducation which plays quite effective role
with the help of which awareness can be increased among people related to healthy and wealthy
life. By developing knowledge about hygiene, individual can know about the positive as well as
negative aspects which affects their health issues.
Lifestyle– This consist ofthe lifestyle ofa person which includes unhealthy diet, smoking, blood
pressure, physical activity, increased weight, cholesterol and so on. Allthese elements highly
affects the health of a person in both positive and negative way. Consumption of alcohol,
smoking, unbalanced diet, drug abuse createsdifferent sort of health problems.
Environmental factors Itconsist of those social atmosphere suchas living & working areas
which are not suitable forthe health condition. It consistof the slum areas aswell as other working
atmosphere which highlyinfluence the overall health of a person. It has been identified that slum
areas develop various infectious disease such as obesity, high cholesterol and high blood
pressure and many more.

be faced by large number of patients in context of attainingnecessary medical services. It

providing services, unavailability of healthcare professionals and so on. However, it is examined
