INTRODUCTION
The concept of Making sense of society in sociological imagination is associated with
setting and leading out a connection between a personal challenge and social issues at a large.
Thus, the implication of sociological imagination allows an individual to look at and set the
actual relationship exists between the their personal lives events and the events going on the their
society (Evans. and Foster, 2019). The significant public person selected for current assignment
is Barack Obama who is a well known American politician as well as a attorney who had served
as a 44th president of United States from a tenure started from 2009 to 2017. Further, the two
themes which are selected for this particular assignment are Migration and globalisation along
with analysis about the theme of Social inequalities.
Main Body
The Barack Hussein Obama was basically born in Honolulu, Hawaii within a Luo family to
a Kenyan father and an American mother. Further, as per the to the U.S. Senate Historical
Office, he was the fifth African American Senator in U.S. history and the first African American
President.
Family History of Barack Obama
The Grandfather of Barack Obama was Hussein Onyango OBAMA who was born in
about 1895 and died during the 1979. The grandfather of Barack Obama was a traveller before
he settled down to work as a cook for missionaries in. Further, the grandfather of Barack Obama
was also recruited and artcipayed in the fight for colonial power England in during the World
War I after which he visited Europe and India, and afterward lived for a time in Zanzibar, where
he converted from Christianity to Islam, family members. Barack Hussein OBAMA Sr. And the
Stanley Ann DUNHAM were the parents of Barack Obama who were married in 1960 in
Hawaii. His parents met while both were attending the East-West Center of the University of
Hawaii at Manoa, where his father was enrolled as a foreign student. The Barack Hussein
OBAMA was born on 4 August 1961 at the Kapiolani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital in
Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein OBAMA, Sr. of Nyangoma-Kogelo, Siaya District, Kenya,
and Stanley Ann DUNHAM of Wichita, KansasWhen Barack Obama was two years old, his
parents divorced and his father moved to Massachusetts to continue his education before
returning to Kenya (Fong, 2020). Apart from this, the Barack Obama has highlighted about the

Obama it has been analysed that the globalisation is the main causes which consists migration of
people and also contributes to a intensification of socio-economic and enhanced political
relations. Further, the concept of globalisation has also enhanced the dislocation of millions of
people that leads to a big sociological issues and set a lot of population in movements.
Another view point is also lead out by Barack Obama in the theme of globalisation and
migration that the concept of globalisation has lead to speed up in the movements and exchange
of goods, services, human beings and other cultural practices across the borders of nation which
has made migration much more easier (Rogers, 2020). It has been analysed that Barack Obama is
also having a perceptive that enhanced level of communication, dissemination of information
with the help of mass media and an improved transportation and flexible movement across

and drawback of globalisation and migration as it has affected various people in a different way

leads to enhanced level of discrimination in society on basis of culture, race or colour of an
individual which lead to enhanced chaos and conflicts in the society.
