An intranet is also known as the digital workplace and there are several learning needs
those are required for the use of the intranet (Dingsøyr 2019). The learning needs required
for the use of the intranet include benefits of the organization from using internet, how to
use the system and the drawbacks of the intranet system.
The two examples of the learning activity in order to meet the recognised learning needs
include the analysis of the needs of the intranet that includes training of the staffs about
the way the system can be used and the offering workshops to the employees about the
benefits of the organization from the intranet system (Barão et al 2017).
Coaching, mentoring, training sessions, workshops, training programs and e learning is
used in order to provide the users the education so that they can properly use the intranet.
It upgrades the performance of the individuals, assists in order to develop and identify the
employees that have high potential. It assists in order to recognise both the strengths of
the organization and the individuals and development of opportunities. It also assists in
order to motivate and empower the employees or the individuals to perform well.
The human resources include a human resource expert that will provide training to the
employees, the financial resources includes the budget that is required in order to hire the
human resource expert and implement the system. The physical resources required are the
computer systems in order to provide training to the employees.
The learning activities are important for the use of the system because it will benefit the
organizations in various ways and the use of the system must be promoted and supported
by the organization and they should provide training to the employees so that they can use
the intranet system properly (Gabriyella, Tobing and Tampubolon 2018).
The effectiveness of the activities of the employees can be monitored from the human
resource expert who is providing training to the employees. The evaluation of the
