TASK 1Introduction Target Australia is a private limited company which is a departmental store chain inAustralia. The firm is operated by the Wesfarmers group. The company acquires many storesall over the country, and it basically operates in 125 targeted country stores and 184 stores inAustralia. It has been observed that in case of retail store it is necessary that the workers areprovided with the effective induction programme for successfully achieving the needs of theconsumers (Viljanen, 2018). Policy statement and objectives For increasing the efficiency of the employees within the company, induction programme canbe very effective in it. It is also said that employees must have understanding regarding thehealth & safety methods within firm. Therefore, the induction program seems to be veryimportant for a maintaining a long term relationship with employees (Billot and King, 2017). INDUCTION PROGRAM Program outlines with session titles, facilitators, location, times, methods of deliver Session 1 Introduction In the first session the staffswill be introduced inside thecompany. In this session theoverview and welcoming ofall the workers will beconducted.Session 2Company’s culture andstructureOrganisational training willbe provided on the structureand the culture. Employeeswill be communicated aboutethical code of conductalong with the policies ofthe company.Session 3Dealing with customers Training will be given tothe employees in terms ofdealing with the patrons.
